"A compelling love story with real emotion...and the right amount of fantasy." ~Joey W. Hill, award-winning author and recipient of the RT Book Reviews Career Achievement Award.

Everyone knows Jonathan Brond is a playboy congressman. None of them suspect the truth.

Christiana is desperate for something new and different--but you should always be careful what you wish for. The tall dark and handsome Congressman is danger personified--in a perfectly fitted suit.

They shouldn’t have met. They shouldn’t be together. But neither of them can deny their dark desires. Some temptations are too delicious to refuse.

One indecent offer. One weekend. That was all she agreed to submit to. But one explosive weekend is all it takes to spark a scandal that could destroy them both.

Stand-alone and part of an interconnected series. Not a cliff-hanger. This book was formerly titled Lovely.

Really good read. Good storyline with well developed characters. Just enough suspense to keep me guessing. However, I felt like the ending was somewhat rushed and not as well thought out as the rest of the book. Worth reading! (browneyedalli)

This was my first book by SaFleur I own a nook copy I truly enjoyed her writing style - it was distinctive and her characters stayed true to their original makeup evolving slowly as the plot line unraveled - There was no drastic "OMG you saved me and I am now this terrific person and love the world" The storyline was easy to follow with strong main and supporting characters. I also found the chemistry between Christina and Jonathon quite explosive Christiana is an intelligent hard working (overworked actually) young woman - Her life experiences have created, IMO, an almost constant need for affirmation. It seems to have molded her into a bit of a people pleaser - her BFF is a socialite (a bit spoiled and not my favorite character) their unique friendship has allowed her to experience both worlds. Her character comes across as mature and emotionally developed beyond her years - For some reason that I truly can not define I had trouble connecting with her character. She is well written and portrayed I just did not click with her Jonathon quite possibly needs his Dom card revoked - Overall his character is likable and I did enjoy watching him blunder through his mistakes and finally figure out that he himself might have some growing up to do There are some plot twists and a bit of suspense woven into this older man/younger woman love story Overall a sweet romance that touches the heart

I was apprehensive reading this at first on account of never having read an erotic romance novel before. But boy was I surprised!! The story alone was worth the read and the depth of the characters especially Christiana and her journey and Jonathan and the truths and realizations they encounter are so good, the more intimate scenes are done with class and not at all what I expected!!
