Elite Navy SEAL Team 10
Reading the stories of a Navy SEAL is very powerful. It’s even more powerful in the form of a journal or diary. Earl and Irene Jenkins discovered such writings while cleaning their attic one day of their son’s writings about this time serving as a SEAL overseas. They are tales of difficulty, heroism, and heart-wrenching humanism. If there was ever a hero to be admired, Greg Jenkins is certainly one of those people. Read how he feels about his mission, life, and of a little boy named “Gabriel” who tugged and touched his heart.

Hello my name is Earl Jenkins. My son Greg was killed while on a mission in Mid-East Asia about a few years ago. When my wife Irene and I recently went through his belongings that were given back to us after his funeral service, we found several diaries that he had been given by his friends, family, and those who just wanted to thank him for his service.

Within those diaries are stories, memories, etc. that not only would make you proud that Greg was a gallant soldier, but also a grand human being. We didn’t go through his things for a long time because we have been grief stricken for so long. In fact, for a while, my wife and I didn’t know that this diary existed until we decided to clear out our attic one day. That was when we discovered the box that was sent to us via the Navy. At first, we didn’t know what to do with these treasurers, and as you can imagine, our grief became deeper as we read through each page of Greg’s adventures...
