Fayetteville, NC, poet Sam Silva, along with his muse and wife, Rachel, has lived an artist's life for most of the last half century. He breathes in the horror of our age, replete with "corporate religion" and a plethora of spiritless toxins and breathes out poetry. This collection of poems which  first appeared in the online journal, Empty Mirror, calls out the demons of modern civilization  as a poet/prophet with strong ties to a traditional mythology must, but also finds a mature man who has come to grips with his own "eternal" predicament and who has found satisfaction in the grace of the gifts he has known. Like all of his work, this one is highly recommended.
