Mary Stuart and Daniel Kennedy have not seen each other since attending a prestigious performing arts school.
Now a world renowned violinist, and married to his career, Daniel stumbles across Mary through her images at a London gallery. He is in need of a photographer with vision - she is a photographer in need of clients.
Mary has all but given up the stage - or has she? Her photographs pay the bills far more than her fancy musical education. But Mary has secrets. . .secrets she dare not share with even the roguish Mr. Kennedy.
A roving paparazzi lens changes all that for them. . .
Can Daniel forgive Mary for hiding her past - and her present? Will their relationship break like a violin string - or will their love endure the chaos?

Reading Encore was like watching an exquisite dance.  The book has a musical theme that is done beautifully.  Mary Stuart and Daniel Kennedy knew each other years before when they attended the same performing arts school.  Daniel is now a world renowned violinist extremely absorbed in his music. While Mary has given up music for a career as a photographer.  Neither knows how to have a serious relationship but wants to learn.  They seem to be perfectly for each other but Mary has secrets that could destroy their relationship.   I felt Jamie Salisbury did a wonderful job at developing the characters.  She did such a great job with Daniel that I could hear him playing his violin in my head.  It wasn't just with Daniel.  I loved Mary's internal struggle with her secrets.  I don't want to give anything away, so I won't go into what her secrets are about.  I also loved Mary's fierce personality.  Standing up for herself when she hears the office woman gossiping about her was great!   Daniel and Mary's sensual relationship is worth the read all by itself.  When Daniel takes his rings off so he doesn't mar her skin I sighed out loud.  My only problem was it was over before I was ready to let them go.  I can't wait for the next book in this series!!!

The Tudor Dynasty series was one of my favorites from Jamie, and this spinoff series, beginning with Encore was an awesome story!!! I adore the relationship between Daniel and Mary, and can't wait to see what else they encounter down the road. This book was very well written and I enjoyed it from beginning to end!! Even though Encore can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend that the reader also reads the Tudor Dynasty series…they’ll love it!!! The musical themes throughout this story really added to the uniqueness of the story.  Great job Miss Jamie…you never disappoint.

The romance between these two characters is what we all wish for! Daniel and Mary have a relationship based on love, mutual respect, and great passion. This is a love story mixed with music, not too complicated, but not without a little adversity. Just enough to make you hold your breath and hope they come through it. I fell in love with these characters, and I think anyone else who reads Encore! will, too!

Wonderful love story! Superb writing, excellent plot...but the love these to feel and share is remarkable and heartfelt. The first book of this author's I've read - and it won't be the last.  This is the stuff best sellers are made of!

OMG! I thought I was hooked on the other Tudor series - until I read Encore! Now I can't decide which book couple I love more: Amadeus and Zara or Daniel and Mary. A spin off from the Tudor Dynasty series this book is the first of a new spin off series. Encore! is so real it had me in tears a couple of times. I love how much emotion the author has put into these two characters. Daniel a way too focused musician has no time for a personal life. Nothing distracts him from his career - that is until Mary. Mary is quite an interesting character - you have to read Encore! to understand - don't want to give away anything. But once she gives into the relentless Daniel Kennedy the two almost merge into one. That's how deep their love becomes. Daniel's character SO reminded me of the man in my life - though I'd never let him know that! He's so real I could almost touch him. A very well written book! I cannot express how beautifully put together this book is. I look forward to devouring the next in this series when it comes out, which I hope is soon. Encore! left me wanting more. This book is bound for great things - like the BEST SELLERS lists!!

In the interest of full disclosure, I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. Daniel Kennedy is a world renowned violinist known for his crossover concerts.  He plays not only classical, but also pop music as no one else ever has.  He is totally immersed in his career and has no interest in or time for a serious relationship.  Until he meets Ms. Mary Stuart or, as Daniel refers to her, Mary Queen of Scots.  Daniel discovers Mary Stuart in London, quite by accident, and decides to hire her as his photographer for a new CD he is releasing.   Upon meeting her at her studio to discuss her ideas and the project, he realizes that they were classmates at Julliard and his memories of her during that time urge him to reconnect and get to know her better. Mary Stuart is a mystery to Daniel.  She has secrets.  Daniel is suspicious but will not push her, hoping that she will eventually open up and share herself with him.  As they grow closer, Mary realizes that she will have to reveal herself to Daniel but she is afraid of what his response will be.  He has always told her that music and his career are 99% of his life and his personal life is only allotted the remaining 1%.  And so the waltz begins.  Mary struggles with her insecurities regarding Daniel’s celebrity, especially when her familial ties come to light unexpectedly.  Daniel is not truly surprised by Mary’s admission of her own family’s celebrity status, and he helps her reintroduce herself back into the family that she ran from years ago, bringing the two of them closer than ever.  But Mary is still hiding something from him.  Will that secret destroy them, or is Daniel enough to make Mary forgo her alter-ego in favor of his love? While this book is a spin-off of Ms. Salisbury’s Tudor Dynasty series it is most definitely Daniel and Mary’s story.  There is just enough of the Tudor family in the background of the story to give it flavor and move it forward.  You can definitely pick this book up and become immersed in the story without ever having read the Tudor Dynasty series.  The story flows smoothly and gives us a glimpse into the life and trials of a musician whose life revolves around his music and tours.  I am very curious to see where Mary and Daniel will go from Encore and will be anxiously waiting for the next piece in their saga.
