Dr. Toossi earned his B.S. from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, all in Mechanical Engineering. He continued postdoctoral studies at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, where he focused on atmospheric aerosols, air pollution dispersion modeling, and flame propagation.
