As a cancer survivor, I loved reading this book. I love that it told the truth about battling cancer but also gives you hope for Callie that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It also shows that a strong Alpha Male can have a gentle feeling side. Beautiful story. I laughed and cried. Best book by Chelle Bliss yet ( and I have read them all...literally).

I absolutely loved this book. Love this author. That being said I cannot give 5 stars to someone who doesn't bother to do research. Someone in the Marine Corps is and will always be a Marine. They are NOT soldiers!!!! Once a Marine always a Marine.

Enshrine is the first book that I have read by Chelle Bliss, and this one was so emotional, yet beautiful and inspiring. I couldn't help falling in love with Bruno, and rooting for Callie every step of the way. She is a strong woman, who has some weak moments, but Bruno is strong when she is weak. Her best friend Becca is awesome, it's just that sometimes she doesn't know how to help Callie, and that is when Bruno and his sister Lee take over. Get your tissues ready, because more than once I had tears flowing. This is the kind of book that pulls at your heartstrings, the kind of book that it takes you a while to get over, the kind of book that is hard to review because you don't want to give anything away and spoil it for the next reader. I am only giving this one five stars because it won't let me give more, and it seriously deserves more. Do yourself a favor and read this one, I highly recommend it!!

Loved the story. I recently lost my sister to this illness. This gave deeper insight into the fight. Many will appreciate this. Thanks...

Callie lives the simple single life of working, shopping, clubbing and hanging out with her BFF until her test results come back with the big cancer diagnosis and her life collapses. She bunkers down in her apartment and won't see or talk to anyone scaring her BFF into enlisting the help of Bruno, the notorious local bad guy, to break in and check on her. Finding out her new challenge, the they team up to help Callie through her fight to kick cancer out of her life. This is a story of Callie's journey and struggle through life after diagnosis.

5 star Review Enshrine by Chelle Bliss I have read several books by Celle Bliss and I have to say that this may well be her best book to date. If I could have given 10 stars I would. This was one of the most powerful books I have ever had the privilege to read. I laughed, I cried, I yelled out loud and I refused to put Enshrine down. I have to say whilst reading this book my heart stopped a few times. I read this in nearly one read, I had to know what was going to happen next! What an emotional roller-coaster Enshrine was. I love how caring Bruno is with Callie. He absolutely oozes sex appeal, dominance and control; a real alpha male, one I would most certainly love to have in my life. The connection between Bruno and Callie is palpable as is his connection with his sister Lee. This is a beautifully written love story. I fell in love with Bruno, his kindness, compassion and you will not quit attitude, was just what Callie needed. I also loved the secondary character of Becca, what an awesome best friend she makes. If I was fighting the fight Callie finds herself in I could do no better than to have Bruno, Becca and Lee by my side. Ms. Bliss writes with a depth of character that at times comes right out of no-where and knocks your socks off. The layers of emotions she peels back can at times be heart wrenching, shocking and surprising. From the first page till the last, I was totally riveted and invested in this story. I am also going to admit that it brought me to tears. I fell in love with Bruno and his family and I really hope that Chelle Bliss decides to write more about them. If you haven’t yet read this book, then do yourselves a favour and read it. It is a story of love, hope, trust and faith, believe in yourself and maybe, just maybe a miracle will occur.

This story will break your heart from the beginning so have extra Kleenex handy because you will need it. Callie is waiting on a life changing phone call. What she doesn't realize is who she will need when the call comes in. Bruno is a mystery to everyone, so that is why everyone calls him "the Butcher". Will Callie learn the truth? This story will break your heart but Chelle Bliss will put it back together by the end. I loved this story and I hope you take the time to read it and you will love it too.

MUST READ Story by teh end of this semi small 2 person POV story I wanted more and craved so much more of Callie and Bruno that I was shocked to the core when it was over. I couldn't believe that it was over. I so wish I could talk about everything that happened in this story but I really can't I don't want to ruin such an eye opening and heart stopping story for everyone. Just know that the details are out of this world the story line is even better and better then ever before and of course like Chelle's other stories your left with wanting more and more. So wishing I could rate this story with more then 5 stars, the emotional level this story takes is one that really opens your mind. the journey all the characters embark on is over the top great and wonderful even more to read about and feel like your apart of that truly amazing journey. So worth the read over and over again. ***I received this story for free in exchange for an honest review, see more of my review @ http://jmhoward2007.blogspot.com/2016/02/blog-tour-review-enshrine-by-chelle.html ***

I read Enshrine a few weeks ago, and it wasn’t until today that I could sit down and properly form my thoughts about this book. Enshrine really hit a bit close to home to me with his cancer plot line. I related to Callie in a way that many may not be able to understand. It’s not that I have faced cancer, but I have watched from the sidelines as someone I loved very much when through many of these same emotions. I also share the same career as Callie fictionally does as a scientific researcher, and in my case, a cancer cell biologist. So just from those two facts alone you can see why this book was both hard for me to read and for my mind to let go off after so many weeks. Callie is given what she thinks is a death sentence and as a scientific researcher, she knows the odds and facts better than anyone else around her. Callie rescinds into a state of depression with the darkness creeping closer and closer to completely enshrining her. She has no one to lean on for support, and she refuses to let even her friend in to help her. She will face this demon or die alone because loneliness is the only thing she has ever known. That is until a very unlikely and surprising man comes barreling into her life just when she was about to give up completely. The way Bruno was first described you’d would have never imagined how his character would turn out to be in the end. I was afraid for Callie when this dangerous man broke down her door and thrust her back into the land of living. He was almost an enigma that floored me as his story unraveled. Yet, but the end of the book, I understood completely why I had the doubts about him that I did. Bruno is the kind of guy you hear about that swoops in as an angel of mercy during a freak car accident and disappears into the night without ever seeking credit for his actions. Sure, he has a gun and serious bad boy reputation, but with Callie, and subsequently, his family, he is a very different kind of man. Truth be told, I’d want a guy like him by my side during any battle. To call Enshrine a different kind of Chelle Bliss story is like calling a downpour a drizzle. Bliss steps out of her comfort zone and delivers a heart-wrenching yet real novel. Her level of detail with Callie’s specific treatments and side effects really left me in awe. Unless you have experienced cancer or had someone close to you fight this nasty disease, it is hard to imagine a story with this level of detail. Enshrine may be completely fictional in nature, but it is a call to all of those struggling with their battle with cancer to not give up. It is a call to fight, and to let those special kind of people in that want to help you fight. As much as you think you can do this on your own, you can’t. To those men and women out there currently fighting, keep your head up and your hearts strong. Fight until your last breath just as I fight alongside you in a laboratory to find a cure. Together, we can do this!

Bruno and Callie are two of the strongest characters I think I’ve read about lately. This is not the typical Chelle Bliss book. It’s about a woman who is going along happily in her life researching cancer. She spends her time buying all the clothes and shoes that she wants. Suddenly, she gets devastating news when she finds out that she has cancer. She splinters into a million pieces. Bruno has been on the sidelines of her life for several years. He steps up in an amazing way. I want to say that this is a very powerful look into a woman’s life and her struggles with a deadly disease. I highly recommend reading it. I hope if I ever find myself in this situation that I have the love and support from my husband that Callie receives from Bruno. Bravo, Chelle Bliss! You hit deep down in this book and made me think about the light in my own life. We all need to watch a sunrise after the dark. We might surprise ourselves in what we can survive.
