Euthyphro is one of Plato's early dialogues and features Socrates engaging in a conversation with Euthyphro, a man who claims to have expert knowledge about piety (or holiness). The dialogue takes place outside the Athenian court, where Socrates is about to be tried for impiety and corrupting the youth.
