Seven years.

Seven damn years of wondering whether the woman was still alive...whether she'd spent the last two thousand five hundred fifty five days wondering if he was still alive.

Wondering whether that night was as burned into her memory as it was his.

Seven years having his heart tethered to Addison?and now she's back. With even more reasons to run than she'd had then.

Only this time, Caine isn't letting the gorgeous little flight risk out of his sight.

Regardless of how noble her reasons may be.

EVERY NIGHT WITHOUT YOU (Bk 2 of 2) takes place seven years after BEFORE THAT NIGHT (Bk 1 of 2), and is the conclusion of Caine & Addison's story of love, sacrifice, and the lengths one will run?and chase?when their past threatens their future.

Note: The Unfinished Love series follows four brothers, each fighting for their second first chance at love. Each of the couples have two books (duets) that take place years apart.

Four brothers. Each fighting for their second first chance at love. Years be damned.

About the Author

NEW YORK TIMES & USA TODAY bestselling author Violet Duke is a former English Ed professor ecstatic to now be on the other side of the page writing emotion-rich stories with fun, everyday characters and sweet, sexy match-ups. Since her acclaimed debut series in 2013, over a million readers have put Violet's “laugh & cry” contemporary romances on the USA Today bestseller list sixteen times, the NYT bestseller list three times, and the Top 10 charts across the major eretailers both in the U.S. and internationally.

When she doesn't have her nose in a book, Violet enjoys the live-out-loud-in-your-PJs sorta lifestyle she loves writing about, which involves lots of: 1) excuses to use her power tools, 2) doing stuff without checking the directions, and 3) impossible-to-be-duplicated 'special edition' dishes that laugh in the face of recipes. Born and raised in Hawai'i, Violet continues to live the no-shoes island way with her kids (daughter Violet & son Duke) and husband (aka their ringleader...and her most devoted fan).

The finale for Caine & Addison was so perfect! I've loved these brothers since they were first introduced in the Cactus Creek series and I couldn't wait for their own books. Violet Duke delivered it perfectly!

A little rushed at the end but good. 250 pages roughly. I thought it was easy to read. Seamless 7 yr later story

I really enjoyed these two books. I actually read through both of them so quickly to see what happened next, I will probably re-read. I love the main male character, he uses the same phrases my sheriff friend does, it was cracking me up. I laughed, and I cried, really great reads!

This series has it all, young love, heartache, suspense, fantastic characters and Violet Duke has formidable writing skills. She can turn a scene from squeaky clean to naughty in public in 60 seconds! Ms. Duke is both a mistress of triple entendres and down home folksy speak that'll have you gasping, grinning and dabbing the allergies out of your eyes prodigiously. If you're a fan of contemporary love stories, you need to read these books!

Great chemistry between Addison and Caine. Loved that Addison was such a strong, caring person. For someone who sacrificed her whole childhood for her siblings, she was never bitter or felt like she missed something. Wanted so bad for her to have HEA. Caine is My man, what's not to like. Highly recommend this book and this author. Mjw

Every Night Without You is the conclusion of Cain and Addison's journey. This book is my favorite so far. My heart ached and I fell more in love with the characters. You'll want to read Before That Night book first. This book held more of a mystery and parts that I never saw coming. I absolutely loved that banter between the guys. My favorite scene is in Addison's apartment with all the guys and then her sister walks in. *No spoilers* I was laughing so hard I was crying. I didn't want Cain and Addison's story to end. I can't wait to read more of the Unfinished Love series.

Note, this is book 2 of 2 in a series, you'll need Caine and Addison's first book prior to this one. SPOILER ALERT I loved this wrap up of Addison and Caine's story. Not only was the love story everything I wanted, but Addison's resolution with her mother made for some nice moments. Some of my favorite parts: the descriptions of Addison's temporary tattoos, the male bickering between Caine and the other male characters, and the reunion of Addison and her diner family. *I received a free advanced reader's copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I swear with every Violet Duke book I read, I love her and her stories more. She takes you on an incredible journey with Caine and Addison. They were so perfect together and it was saddening to see them struggle to stay apart and yearn for the other. Their story was one of the most beautiful stories I have read. This one had a little suspense, a great twist, dear, family, laughter, and a whole lot of love. Their relationship was so intense and pure. They knew where they belonged from the beginning. I enjoyed getting to know both Caine and Addison's family and friends better. I cannot wait for the other books in this series. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author.

Love the conclusion to Cain and Addison story. Great pick up after 7 years apart. Can't wait for the next book.

Waited a long time for this book and now I almost know "the rest of the story".. Complicated, emotional, romantic, suspenseful, sad, happy and lots of other good comments to be made... But, what the heck happened to David?? Addison and Caine found their HEA and that was great but I will forever wonder what happened to the demented stalker that terrorized both books... Also the final third of the book was not proofread.. Many missing or wrong words and the spelling was bad.. But I know Ms. Duke was contending with illness and a hurricane so all is forgiven.. Love her books and hope all is now well..

Before That Night got the ball rolling with the complicated romance of Addison and Caine. Every Night Without You picks up after that night, seven years later. Ms. Duke made some surprising reveals and gave some heartbreaking answers to the questions left unanswered in Before That Night. This time around I felt more focus being put on the mysterious stalker than the romantic liaison. With all the baggage shoveled her way, it was nice to see Addison finally get the closure and happy ending she so richly deserved.

I loved reading Every Night Without You: Caine and Addison by Marquita Valentine. Although the second book in the series it is a standalone story and can be read without reading the previous ones. This story gave the reader a view of what was happening to Caine and Addison seven years later after Addison left Caine, as told in book one, Before That Night. This book is the conclusion of the love, sacrifice, as well as the lengths one will go when their past threatens their future in order to survive. This was an intense, entertaining story with well written, complex and authentic characters. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. Ms Duke takes the reader deep into the lives and thoughts of her characters. Her characters are real, do not apologize for their behavior or the actions they made and are led by their survival instincts. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Cain and Addison waited patiently for so long to get their happily ever after! The rest of thier story was worth waiting for.

So worth the wait!!! After seven long years, Caine sees Addison while on the job and pulls her over. From there starts the beginning of them finally coming together! David is still on the loose and out to get Addison, Kylie is a beautiful teenager and Addison has a new BFF and a new look. All this is part of what's going on with them now but how they feel is the same. I had a smile on my face once I started reading this story and it was still there at the end. In the middle was laughter and some tears but it was all worth it. The characters are an older version from the 1st story but what had the readers fall in love with them is still there. And you find out that family is who you choose and not always who you were born to. And lets not forget the twist the author throws in...OMG! I submitted a request to the publisher to read and voluntarily review an uncorrected advance reader's copy of this book with my honest opinion.

Absolutely amazing! Worth the wait! Book 2 of this Duet about Caine & Addison was so wonderful, I don't think I can gush more about it. Without giving anything away its hard to leave a in depth review, but if you've had any reservations about reading this - you can stop it now. Addison was so sassy, and Caine so protective. And, yes, you get your long awaited happily-ever-after!

I've been waiting for the second second half of Caine and Addison's love story and Violet Duke did not disappoint me. It was like catching up with old friends. I love all the characters. The story continues 7 years into the future from book 1 and it covers some of what happened in those 7 years but mainly picks up on what's happening now. The stalker from book 1 is back and even more sinister. The love scenes with Caine and Addison are HOT and tastefully done. The book has a surprise ending that I never saw coming. I never like to give too much of the plot away so that you can enjoy it as it unfolds and let me tell you...if you read book 1, you'll love book 2.

Great book! There are some twists and completely unexpected turns in this book. Very well written. I was so glad to read the rest of the story of Addison and Caine's story. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."

Thank God we didn't have to wait seven years to find out what happened! This is a fantastic finish to a wonderful two part book. Before That Night introduced us to Caine (a Spencer brother and seen in other Violet Duke stories, such as Love, Chocolate and Beer), and Addison, an incredibly tough 19-year-old determined to raise her young brother and sister since her drugged up mother just wasn't capable. Throw in a crazed stalker and some noble sacrifice and you've got the makings of a wonderful love story. Violet Duke writes characters that you totally want to hang out with. Definitely one of my favorite authors. You won't regret reading this story!

This is the continuation of Caine and Addison's story.. Although separated for seven years they never stopped loving each other. This book has all the feels. The story has a sexy alpha male, a feisty heroine. There's a little mystery and suspense, which you don't usually see in Violet Dukes books. To me she really seemed to grow as an author with this book.I've read and loved all her books and this one was a little different from her sweet romantic books she's been writing. There is a lot of snarky humor in this book, which is my absolute favorite. I was laughing a lot. ****I submitted a request to the publisher to read and voluntarily review an uncorrected advance reader's copy of this book with my honest opinion.**** This book deserved all five stars. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Looking forward to Skylar and Drews book and what Violet Duke has in store for them!
