"Excuse Me I Have A Question", is a story about a young kid and his best friend, and the chance encounter they have with an officer that shapes their perception of their hero's and highlights their friendship. The story takes you on a journey from a call for service to a road trip to the police department. Starting from the opening of the story, the young lead tries to ask questions but never seems to get them answered. However, that does not stop him from asking, nor does it deter him from continuing to admire and respect the law enforcement profession. The story is one that represents family, friendship, community, respect, and honor.

My name is Charles Pratt Jr and I was married to my beautiful bride Allyson Pratt on 9-4-2010, and she is the love of my life and part of the reason why I became an author. It is my wife that fuels me and drives me to be better, do better, and broaden my horizons. Also partially responsible for me becoming an author are my children who keep me young at heart, inspire me, and live their lives God fearing and carefree for all to witness. Their imagination, creativity, and spirit, has sparked new life in me and has encouraged me to write. You see I have always had a fond love for the arts, therefore writing a book or two only seemed like a natural progression for me. Aside from writing I enjoy theatre, painting, playing sports, and spending time with family.
