In a continuation of her novels about the New York Blades hockey team, Martin reintroduces us to Theresa Falconetti. Theresa is smart, good looking and successful. She never dates Italians or professional athletes, even though her PR firm represents a few of them.Michael Dante, winger for the New York Blades is both. He is also mad about Theresa. He has tried everything to win her over, to no avail. So he hires her to publicize his family's resaurant. Between Theresa's disdain, his brother's rage and a brutal season, Michael is being driven nuts. He has to find a way to convince Theresa that he loves her and that he would never hurt her.

... i was hoping for more chemistry between the characters but didnt get any until the very end.... i loved michael but could not stand theresa and the fact that he chased her throughout the whole book, overall i was dissapointed.

Good Stuff! When one sees a book based on professional hockey and coming from a very intense football/hockey town (stanley cup & super bowl in same year), I tend to take notice. I had never read any of Ms. Martin's books and decided to take a chance. I was NOT disappointed. Reminded me of Erin McCarthy's Fast Track series. Great romance & humor. I read a review that also compared it to Stephanie Plum, i would agree on some level. PG sex, but that's ok. It blended very well. I highly recommend this for any romance fan. i've only read first and second book, just ordered the third. You won't be disappointed.
