Fear of Soloing presents scales, modes, and arpeggios for guitar in a clear, easy to read format. It is designed for guitarists who don't read music, or simply prefer to expand their knowledge of the guitar through a more visual approach. The alpha/numeric approach displays scales, modes, and arpeggios, with left hand fingering numbers, scale chord degrees, and reference chord shapes for each melodic device. All of the examples in Fear of Soloing are organized in the C A G E D format, which presents them in five different fingerings on the fingerboard.
