Ok where was the heat I love this author this book was so boring I skipped over a lot and still did not miss anything, Its like she keeps writing the same book and just changes the name and locations. I will continue to buy her books and I hope she improves on the stories because she is a very talented author but you would not know from reading this book.

This wasn't my one of my favorite books by Brenda Jackson and it was by far my least favorite of the Westmoreland  series. I thought it was just okay.

Micha and Kalina’s story is definitely filled with romance, love and conflict. Micha Westmoreland is once again face to face with the woman he allowed to sweep through his fingers two years ago but is determined to make amends of that situation. Working for the Center of Disease Control Center brings them together without her father’s interference. Kalina is still attracted to the man who betrayed her and sided with her father. Or so she thinks. She had no desire to slip back into his cluthes and let history repeat itself. She has no desire to be controlled in any shape or fashion yet she can’t deny the passion that simmers just below the surface between them. Micha takes advantage of every chance he gets to prove to her there is still not only passion but feelings between them. He is determined to have her get to know the real him. He invites her home to Denver to meet his huge family. It is here that their love grows even more. I look forward to reading more of this wonderful family series. What I Liked: The conflict and passion that made this story believable. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. I had no problem in delving into their story. It is face paced and moves along without any hitches in the road. What I Didn’t Like: Honestly, I can’t say there is anything I didn’t like.

I enjoy Brenda Jackson's books. She has away of putting you in the story, where you can feel like you are a part of the cast. Yes the cast, this book reads like a movie. The begining is a little slow but stay with it, it will pick up and you will enjoy it!

I usually am a great fan of Brenda Jackosn. I read most of the Westmoreland books and was expecting a great story. I had to force myself to finish this short story. It was slow, lacking of any type of real interaction or interesting dialog between the main characters. Well maybe this one will be the exception to this otherwise great series.
