Finally Found You (A Stand Alone Romance) by Carrie Ann Ryan

The moment Presley Mackenzie walks into her kitchen only to find her boyfriend in a sweaty encounter with another woman on her kitchen counter, she vows to give up men forever. Between her testosterone-heavy day job in the gaming world, her broken heart, and her need to grow into her own shoes, dating just isn't important.

Mason Sutton not only just got dumped by the woman he thought he'd spend the rest of his life with, but now he finds himself healing beside the woman his brother cheated on. He's spent his entire life living in his brother's shadow only to find himself wanting the one woman he can't have.

As Presley and Mason soothe each other's hurts, they find themselves falling for each other even as they fight it. But as they learn to forgive and fall in love, their pasts come back to haunt them and the future they thought they could have starts to crumble before it can take hold.

**3.5 stars** I am a big fan of Carrie Ann Ryan and have read a lot of her work. I had an opportunity to review this book by her and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't my favorite of hers.. As always the writing was great and I liked the main characters and wished that there had been more of them together in the story - I would have loved that! The sex was super hot and Mason was a dirty talker! Always a bonus! Carrie Ann Ryan definitely can write a great scene and while I didn't love hearing about the other relationships with the terrible exes, I totally could feel the emotions of Presley and Mason from the description. Always with all the feels!! I guess where I had the issues was the plot development in such a short story. The story jumped a lot and I felt like there was a lot of time spent on the secondary characters and the end of both of their other relationships. Probably could have done with less of that and more about Presley and Mason's relationship. It felt like we sped through their burgeoning relationship while we heard a lot about the rest that maybe wasn't needed... It just felt disproportionate (to me). Looking forward though to my next read by this author! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This is one of those stories with a happily ever after but of course it doesn't seem like it's going to be. It's about Presley and Mason, but starts out with Presley as Mason's brother's (Trent) girlfriend. Presley walks in her own home, coming home early, and finds Trent screwing her friend on her kitchen counter. She is hurt and devastated that they could do this to her and worst of all, she can tell by the way they're acting that it's not the first time. Trent confirms this as he taunts her with where he and Stacy have screwed, which is all over her house. Really?? He couldn't have done his cheating at his own home? Such a pig! Any way, the same night Mason gets dumped by his girlfriend, Lorena, in a public bar. Duh. When Mason finds out about Presley he jumps in a cab and goes to her house to console her. It seems the two of them have been best friends since he met her as his brother's girl. This is were the story takes a turn for the better. A really nice story where fairytales really do come true.

I don't usually go on rants but... you actually charged me real money for 70 pgs!?? The story was just okay. Just. And you wanted real dollars for this? Just no.

4.5 Stars Wow! This book starts with a bang. (Ha! Pun intended.) Presley catches her friend and boyfriend in a compromising position on HER kitchen counter no less. Despite the heart ache both main characters go through early on, this was a great book! Mason and Presley were perfect for each other and I enjoyed watching them grow from friends, to lovers and then eventually a couple. The only reason this book is not receiving a 5 star rating is that I really wanted an epilogue that would have wrapped things up a bit tighter.

This was a very enjoyable read. The development of the strong friendship between Mason and Presley and it's progression to a romantic love was beautifully written. I loved that despite all their insecurities and self doubt they showed strength when needed. This book will go in my favourites folder to read again and again.

Another Carrie Ann Ryan gem! Presley and Mason are best friends turned lovers. She tends to hide who she is due to the idiots she works with. He is a down to earth man with a sweet side who will do anything for someone he cares about. Together? Perfection. They just fit. This one is short and sweet and I really loved the characters! They are funny and sexy together. Even though this book is not part of a series, I am hopeful that we may see a sequel about Presley's brother Ian! Not so much though about Mason's brother Trent. I can only hope he gets what he truly deserves someday!! If your looking for a quick read, this is a great book!

A Very Short, Fast, Emotional Journey. This one takes you through the full range of emotion, shock, anger, betrayal, jealousy, crushing heartbreak, strong friendships, laughter and love (not necessarily in that order or all to do with their personal lives) Both Presley Mackenzie and Mason Sutton have world altering days that alter both their personal and professional lives. Having known each other for over a year they find out about each others heart break and commiserate (bond) over a pint of Fudge ripple ice cream. (how could you not love that) Overall this is a great cuddle in bed before it is time to go to sleep quick but entertaining read. (I so hope the author comes back to this world and tells us more about Ian and Harmony)

Short...no real plot and then it just ends with a cliffhanger but no future continuing of it. Don't waste your 30 minutes to read.

Tempting Signs Book Four. Multi-Author Series. Presley Mackenzie is devastated and angry when she finds her boyfriend and her best friend on her kitchen counter one day. After kicking them out, she commiserates with Mason Sutton who has also been broken up with. The two grow closer over the next few weeks; after all, misery loves company. One day they decide to try out a friends-with-benefits relationship. However, Mason's brother comes close to ruining it when he lets slip that Mason may be leaving. If you're looking for a quick, steamy friends-to-lovers story, this is the book for you! Audio Review: Gregory Salinas narrates most of Carrie Ann Ryan's books and has a good grasp on her characters' personalities. He doesn't go overboard on the drama, but lets it unfold naturally.

NUMBER OF HEARTS: 4 REVIEW: Finally Found You was a quick, sweet and steamy read, therefore my review will be short and sweet too. As always Ms. Ryan writes a story that tugs at your heartstrings. I really enjoyed Mason & Presley’s story. They are so perfect for each other. How can you not love a couple that plays strip video games :) I didn’t want their story to end. I want to know what happens next with these two. And I really would love to see that slimeball Trent get his just desserts (man I wanted to punch him in his smug little face). Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book from Carrie Ann Ryan in exchange for an honest review. This review is my own opinion and not a paid review.

I knew this was going to be short (just 67 pages), but I hoped for a good Carrie Ann Ryan story. And I just didn't get it. Good characters, reasonable storyline, but I could see where it was going from the beginnng. No surprises and no real interest. I won't be buying the others in this series.

As always, Carrie Ann Ryan did not disappoint ! This kept my attention from beginning to end - short, but a lot of story within without being rushed . Looking forward to the rest of the series !
