I really enjoyed this book for the historical content and the adventure these pilots took the reader on. The story flowed and kept my interest so I give it 5 stars!

This is one of those books that is so hard to put down. My congratulations to the two explorers for keeping the personal touch in their story of one of those virtually unheard of plane crashes. You don't need to be a pilot, a hiker, or an explorer to truly enjoy this true story of adventure and intrigue. It would have been a 5-Star rating expect the black and white photos just didn't cut it. I found my self feeling the Alaskan weather right along with the author and everything they went through. Hats off to Kevin and Marc for a job well-done and a story well-told.

This book is an easy read and a real page turner.  The two explorers undertook a remarkable journey in finding the legendary lost plan and researching the background of the plan, its crew and its passengers.  I felt like I was in the back seat of their plan as they flew over the glacier that held the plane and attempted to land. IExperiencing the near disasters they had felt personal. I could almost feel the and smell the air as they walked across the glacier and overcame its many challenges.
