My best friend is happily coupled up with the girl of his dreams and all he asked me to do is help keep her safe. Her and her friend.

I can do that. I'm a bodyguard. Protection is what we do.

But how the hell do you protect someone like JJ? Loud, argumentative and more sass than sense. I learned a long time ago that protection and romance don't mix but JJ is a crack in my armor. An argumentative, beautiful crack in my armor.

And to protect her I might have to break the vow I made years ago.
