I was sooo looking forward to this book, but what a let down. The story is hard to follow, I felt like I didnt get to know the characters, and had to force myself to keep reading, hoping it would get better. Disappointed.

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster ride.. twists and turns, highs and very low lows, ultimate happy ending, but wow.. what a journey you take to reach it... Willow never fails to make you cry, makes you feel, makes you fall in love!

I have read many books by Willow Winters, but in "Forget Me Not", she has outdone herself with this one! IMHO, this is her best work to date. It is a dark gut-wrenching haunting love story with twists and OMG reveals that leaves the reader with a lot of mixed emotions. A story that takes place over 20 years, the focus is on the two main characters that suffered as children and we see the outcome of that years later. The story is a bit difficult to review for me without giving too much away, so I will just say this is one readers will definitely want for their library of books. Bravo to the author for giving us such a wonderful story, and thank you for gifting me with "Forget Me Not". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 5 Stars!

This is a very unique and interesting story. It was confusing at first, but quickly became addicting and one of the most interesting plots I have ever read. This was the first book by Willow Winters I have read, and I plan to read a lot more of her work. Very good!!

Wow..... Forget Me Not was one of those stories where you think you know what is happening and then BAM your thrown for one hell of a loop. Willow Winters was brilliant in her story telling of two lost souls that found one another again. It's one of those second chances that leaves a lingering need in your heart and soul. I was truly blown away with Jay and Robin and what they endured both as children and then as adults. A sick individual brought them together. Both living a torturous existence. Both relying on the other to survive. Robin made it out physically, but mentally she kept the hell she lived within her. Living with survivors guilt was eating her away. Wondering if the boy she grew to love, the boy that saved her was still alive. Jay knew he did the right thing saving Robin, and knew staying away was the right thing to do. However, he knew he had to go save her again, this time save her from herself. Demons resurface as they each fight to help one another. In the end, can they each save each other? Willow Winters you truly blew me away with this story. It has left an imprint within me that I can't let go. I loved Jay and Robin and the strength they both found in the darkest and scariest moments. BRAVO Willow, BRAVO!!!

Even though I understood from the beginning what was happening, it didn't make this story any less powerful. Forget Me Not is a heart-wrenching portrait of a tortured soul and the woman who wants to heal him. It's also a great love story. This book is so moving and mesmerizing that I could not put it down. Forget Me Not is unforgettable (no pun intended!) Willow Winters has taken her writing to a whole new level with this book. I loved it. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

A Review of Forget Me Not by Willow Winters The rest of the story - 4.5 stars I love the writing of Ms. Winters. She gives us stories that are dark, sometimes demented, but shows us that love can still come out of that darkness. When Robin had the chance to escape, she took it, even though it meant leaving the only person that had protected her while she was a captive. At the age of fourteen, she was a very naïve and didn't trust her gut instinct that first time. She can only hope and pray that he will make it out one day and come back. You definitely want to get this one if you like your books a little dirty, dark and powerful all at once. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. **Honest review voluntarily provided from a Complimentary Copy**

This is a new-to-me author and I was very much anticipating this story. I’m a sucker for some dark and twisted love stories and that blurb drew me in. Since I had never read anything from this author I didn’t know what to expect but HOLY EFFIN H**L!!! Why haven’t I read this author’s work sooner?! I’m seriously at a loss for words here. To create and write such a twisted and daunting yet heart gripping story takes some serious effin talent. So kudos, Ms. Winters because you have accomplished just that and you completely blew me away with this first impression. I will absolutely be looking into more of this author’s work. I mean the suspense in this book alone will drive you effin insane. It was killin me. I was sitting on the edge of my seat with my heart in my throat. I was so completely and utterly consumed in this story I could not put it down. There were times where I had no clue what the f*** was happening because this is certainly not one of those stories where you can predict the whole f****** story from the first page. OH H**L NO! This was a complete mind f***!! I was glued to the pages from the very beginning with my heart pounding more and more the further into the book I got. There was a moment where I had to stop and take a breather and just give myself a WT* moment….and then dove right back in. I wouldn’t say this is a dark romance, per se. It’s more suspenseful than dark and also for me I would’ve liked to see a little bit more on the romance/love side but this was so worth the read. I think this author did a great job as this is well written and has a great set of characters. If you like a total mind f*** and reading powerful intense and suspenseful reads then this is definitely one you do not want to miss.

Wow. This was another very intense, heart breaking, captivating and gut wrenching book by this author. My emotions were all other the place with these two. Jay and Robin had known each other for a long time. She was kidnapped by his dad when they were kids and they were both abused. Til he helped her get away. Now though he's back and again she finds herself kidnapped but this time by the one who saved her last time. They are both broken and damaged and need each other to heal from the past. Will definitely tear at your heart strings for sure but is a really great book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

"I'll be anyone for you. I'll do anything for you. I only exist for you." Wow.You know when you come across a book that, even after to close the back cover, stays with you long afterward? The kind of book that monopolizes your thoughts for days or even weeks? The one that gives you chest pains just thinking about what the characters went through, but also gives you that goofy grin when you think about the happy parts? That is this book. My heart is a total wreck after the roller coaster that is this story, but in the best way possible. Robin is a survivor. As a child, she endured a horrific situation for months. But she escaped. She left him behind to suffer an unknown fate. But, she's never forgotten him. Never stopped loving him. Now she is reliving her past and he's back. But, can she save him this time? Or, will he save her a second time? Jay never forgot his Little Bird. He's lived for her, loving her from afar. He knows she's broken and only wants to fix her. But will John let him do what he needs to do? Can Jay fix her? Fix them both? Will John be able to protect her as he feels compelled to do? If he has to fight Jay to do it, which one will win? I don't want to give too much away, so if this review is vague, that's why. You just have to read it. It's dark. It's twisted. It's amazingly heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. Through all the twisted, you have a deep understanding and sympathy as to the reasons why. You won't be able to stop loving all of the characters and hoping all of them make it out. I highly recommend this book, but prepare yourself. You're never going to forget it.

This is an absolute page turner. It is a stay up all night because you can't put it down, wake up sleepy the next day, but you can't feel any guilt when your feet are dragging because it was so worth staying up all night to read it kind of book!! This might possibly be her best book. It keeps you tied up in suspense trying to figure things out right up until the end of the book. Loved it!!

This story will linger in your head for a long time after the last word is read. It’s deep and dark. Traumatic and mind-bending. There’s so many twists and turns to this story, it barely gives you time to catch your breath. Willow has crafted a roller coaster of a tale, the emotional tugs and flows with break your heart. Robin met Jay as a child when she was kidnapped by his father, the man who tortured Jay. Both children are left traumatised and broken. Somehow, Jay manages to help Robin escape but is left behind. She believes he has died and it’s only 20 years later when she finds out the truth. Jay is alive, but he’s become something else, something that will chill her to the marrow of her bones. His father was a brutal, demonic man. Does the apple fall far from the tree? Jay needs her help and believes she needs his too but- Is he a monster or savior?

This book... holy crap. I didn't know what I was getting into when I started Forget Me Not, but wow. It's intense, twisted, suspenseful, and a love story all in one. Jay and Robin experienced something so traumatic together as young kids and it sealed their fate. Saying anymore will spoil it for you. I will say that when I figured out what was going on I was shocked and surprised, and loved this story even more. This is by far Willow Winters' best book. It's extremely well written. This dark tale will have you hooked. Definitely do yourself a favor and pick this one up. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
