Abel Gunner is a rock-star with legendary skills both in and out of the bedroom. He swore he wouldn't fall for another woman after being schemed and manipulated by an ex-lover. He kept that vow until he met Gia Mastro. The Dom inside of him awoke the moment he set eyes upon the submissive beauty. His dark soul hungered for her submission and affection. The deep connection they share leaves him desperate for something he never expected - her love. Her pain brings him the pleasure he craves. Her smile calms the beast that rages within him. Gia loves Abel more than life itself, but Abel is disillusioned by love and wrecks Gia in the process. Her life hangs in the balance. His life depends on forgiving her. This couple must face many truths. Is love enough to overcome the damage that dwells within? Gia's experiences with love have been nil until meeting the infamous bad-boy rocker, Abel Gunner. Swept up in a mind-bending, Dom/submissive love affair, she's forced to make decisions that both help and hurt their relationship. They both have to face their demons before they can embrace a future together. In the end, they're faced with two choices: Fight for their love, or die with their demons.

First and foremost I have to say I absolutely love Gina Whitney, she is an amazing author. Her writing is epic. I loved Forgiving Gia, we saw a different side of both Abel and Gia that still didnt take away from them being bad ass or too whipped. The suspense drove me crazy but the drama that unfolded kept me wanting more. What happens to Gia in the book I so did not see coming, it was very unpredictable which I loved. The characters from this series are amazing and you cant help but fall for them. I seriously cant wait to see whats in store in the next installment. I still have to say Ender is my favorite character out of them all, def love seeing more of him.

The roller coaster just keeps on twisting! Forgiving Gia is the second book of the Rocker series by Gina Whitney and begins exactly where Saving Abel ends. Rock star "bad boy" and broody hard core Dom Abel Gunner leaves Gia behind, broken beyond imagining after believing the lies and insinuations of a whacked out former lover. It will take several people that care deeply for the pair working together to give them a chance to get past the lies and doubts before they can begin to rebuild what they were building together. But will it be enough? Abel and Gia know that without the other, they are doomed to live a broken and shattered existence, but are either strong enough to face the demons of their pasts? If I thought book 1, Saving Abel, was a hot, hard, twisted, and sweaty ride, it was nothing compared to Forgiving Gia! There is tragedy, past horrors revealed, betrayal, tenderness, and the hot D/s relationship of a broody Alpha Dom for his sassy little sub. It was quite the roller coaster from beginning to end and I absolutely loved it! Even as some questions were answered, there were just as many new questions came to the surface. To say anymore would be to give too much away... You'll just have to read it to find out for yourself! WARNING: This book picks up where Saving Abel left off and does end in a cliff-hanger. I guess we'll have to wait until book 3 to find out all the answers!

Our pain is our strength... The Rocker Series continues...Abel has just left with the band for their overseas tour...Gia is left weeping on the tarmac...ACTION! That's exactly what you get in Forgiving Gia, lots of action. You get action from the media, you get action from the crazy ex-stalker b*tch, you get action in the bedroom, the bathroom, the elevator, the boat, and um...yes, the dining room table too. You get more secrets, scandal, and suspense. You also get a few giggles from the antics of Gia's BFF's, Cindy and Chance. Yes, Chance is actually Abel's PA, but you know how the girls like to stick together, right? It's so funny how Chance calls Abel a broody-alpha and Cindy calls him a caveman. It's no secret to anyone around him, how could it be when he just scoops her up and throws her over his shoulder, no matter where they are or who's watching. She claims that he controls her with his "Dom-juju" and he seduces her with his "word porn". Don't you just love a dirty-talkin' Dom Rocker? Who could resist that? (wink-wink)

Gina Whitney ROCKS!   Let me start out by saying that Gina Whitney can't write books quickly enough for me! I LOVE Forgiving Gia and will never get enough of Abel! Abel Gunner is a famous rock star with darkness in his soul. He's not a big fan of relationships thanks to an ex-lover and has vowed to never get in another one until he meets Gia Mastro. Gia is a beautiful girl filled with pain from her past, however something about her calms the beast inside of Abel. She loves Abel so much that he was able to wreck her completely and her life hangs in the balance. Gina Whitney left us with a HUGE cliffhanger in Saving Abel but just picked up where we left off in Forgiving Gia very smoothly. She didn't make us wait until the end of the book to get the question answered. Gina also showed us what made Abel and Gia the way they were in more depth. She has a way of writing that the emotions of Abel and Gia flew out of the book. I found that I had tears in my eyes several times while reading this book. I don't want to forget to throw in the HOTNESS factor, and HOT it was!!! I'm not going to lie, I NEED more Abel!!!!!! If you haven't read Saving Abel, you need to pick it up before reading Forgiving Gia, because trust me when I say, you will LOVE Abel and need more of him as well!

This was absolutely one of the best books that I have read in 2014. Gina Whitney is just one of those authors who leaves you wanting more books and wanting them immediately. Her exceptional writing skills are unparalleled with any author I have read in a long time. She makes being bad look so good. We literally pick up Forgiving Gia right where we left off in Saving Abel, with Abel walking away from Gia to board his private jet to Europe. I think the main reason why I really loved this book was because Gia and Abel are forced to come face-to-face and confront their issues like two adults would and should do. They each have their own issues and demons they're dealing with and they have to figure out how to do that without further damaging their relationship. We finally get a chance to see who Abel is behind the mask of the Dom and let me tell you something: that boy is damaged in a way that only Gia can truly fix him. He is just a man who hides behind the mask of a Dom because he desperately needs that control in his life that he hadn't always had as a child. There are particular players in this book who are the force behind getting Gia and Abel back together again and I think I fell in love with one of them. He was probably my very favorite character in this entire book and he has a really epic secret that Gia figures out in chapter 1. Hopefully Gina Whitney feels the desire to write his story, because he is outrageously hot! I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for some incredibly hot scenes and emotional connections. This book had it all and then some.
