Forgiving Lies by Molly McAdams was an amazing story that captivated me from beginning to end.  I loved every single word of it and now I am left desperately wanting the next book, Deceiving Lies. With every new book that Ms. McAdams delivers, I fall more and more in love with her writing and exceptional ability to bring a story to life.  As a reader, I wasn’t just given a story to read, I was immersed into the world of Kash and Rachel experiencing every detail right along with them.  Ms. McAdams always does a magnificent job evoking every emotion possible from her readers, and Forgiving Lies is absolutely no exception. Kash and Rachel were superbly written and I connected with their characters immediately.  Their relationship was gradual and didn’t feel forced or unrealistic.  Their interactions and dialogue were witty and so much fun to read.  Kash is an extremely hot, bad*** alpha male who makes you fall in lust/love as soon as he makes his debut on the page, and Rachel has a quiet strength about her that immediately wowed me.  Their development as individual characters, and as a couple, were my two favorite parts of the book. The secondary characters added an extremely fun element to the story and made for a much richer read.  I loved Mason - his quick wit and banter with Kash were awesome!  I loved to hate Candice -  she has to be the absolute worst best friend ever.  However, I did think that she was an honest, refreshing addition to the book. Debuting as book one in this new series, Forgiving Lies deals with a darker subject matter (sexual predator and detailed rape scene) than the author’s previous books, and also contains a suspense/mystery element.  It is fast-paced and filled with angst, but was a little predictable.  The ending delivers a massive cliffhanger that will leave you screaming and cursing the fact that you have to wait until Spring of 2014 for the next one. Overall, Forgiving Lies was an exceptional story that captured my heart!  I consider it a must read for any fan of the Contemporary, New Adult and Romantic Suspense genres. Reading a Molly McAdams book is a phenomenal experience, especially is that book is Forgiving Lies!

I recently read Forgiving Lies because my friend kept telling me how amazing it was. I finally had the time to read it, and I have to say I wasn't impressed. The whole story is so unrealistic and all over the place. Too many things were going on at one time and it became overwhelming. It's like one crazy thing would happen and then it would automatically jump into something else and it was ridiculous. A lot of things came out of nowhere with no warning or hint and that threw me off. I don't want to ruin anything, but the first tragic thing that happens to Rachel in the book was so unexpected and out of nowhere. If McAdams would have mentioned that this character was always a bit sketchy than things would have been different, but she just kind of jumps into it out of nowhere.  I also wasn't a fan of how cliche Rachel and Kash's romance was. It was basically like Rachel depended on Kash for everything and didn't want to be without him. I don't like it when the girl is deemed as helpless, I like her to be strong and powerful. The whole relationship moved way too fast. In the long run, I wouldn't recommend this book unless you were into cliche love stories.

The author gave clues and allowed the reader to make inferences rather than just flat out telling us everything. Loved seeing things from both Kashmir and Rachel's Point of view. It flowed very easily and was clear who was speaking because they had distinct personalities that came out in When first introduced to each of the main characters, it wasn't obvious in what way they were flawed, yet that came through clearly while reading. There were multiple peaks throughout the story that pulled me in over and over, rather than just rising action - climax - resolution. The love scenes were just that - love scenes that were sweet and passionate. Nothing over the top or raunchy. They got your heartbeat going a bit but you wouldn't be embarrassed to recommend this to your mom without blushing. Characters were very likable - I loved that Rachel was such a strong independent female lead. I found myself really caring them. Leaves you wanting to read the next book in the series. What I disliked about the book. I did not like the cliffhanger that the readers are left with at the end of the book, especially since the next book does not come out until next year. I think that is a long time to keep a reader hanging. I enjoy reading Molly McAdams books and Forgiving Lies has the promise of being a great series and I am looking forward to book #2. So be prepared to be drawn into the lives of Kash and Rachel and enjoy the ride.

Personally I enjoyed that there was so much other drama going on in the book. Yes the relationship moved fast but for anyone who has fallen in love when they weren't expecting to even start a relationship knows how fast things can go. I would recommend this book.

Okay, not really understanding what is going on between Rachel and Kash. Just when you think they are finally connecting on a deep level, here comes stupid drama that really doesn't make sense and off they go separately into the sunset! Book 2 is going to be more drama about these 2 stupid, immature people who in my opinion do not deserve to have a HEA!

Ms. Molly has DONE.IT.AGAIN!! I was so invested in Rachel and Kash’s story that I had to finish it in one sitting, even if that meant staying up until after 2am. The lack of sleep was sooooo worth it.  The last thing Rachel had on her mind was men when she and her BFF, Candice got two new roommates across the hall. I loved the way Rachel and Kash interacted and gave each other a hard time. It made their friendship believable and real. But little does Rachel know that the guy she’s falling for is hiding a secret from her. There are so many twists and turns in this book that you don’t even see the next one coming AND I definitely didn’t expect the epilogue to set up the next book so perfectly. FL dealt with several “real” issues and I often found myself screaming “NO, don’t let that happen” and was proud of Molly as an author that she added those detailed parts because many authors would’ve written a different outcome. If there is a silver lining, it is that Deceiving Lies was already released when I finished FL. I cannot wait to see what is next for these two.

Check out the full review at Kritters Ramblings Told through both Rachel and Kash's points of view, this book moved perfectly back and forth building the relationship with both telling their side of the story.  I could tell from the beginning, this book was going to be different and I couldn't wait to keep reading.   Rachel had quite a lot happen to her in this book and although I am not sure I agreed completely with the reactions that happened, I could enjoy them in the fiction setting of the book.  On the other hand, I felt like Kash was a little more real and I waited for the times where he was narrating the story.
