Born an MC brat, my only dream is to wear the colors of my father's club, The Shadow Keepers. To feel the weight of the warm leather press across my back, and to be a part of something with purpose.
It wasn't until the last drop of blood dripped from my fingertips and the gun smoke faded into the night sky that I realized what was really important to me.
In a blink of an eye, I lost it all. I lost him.
There's no such thing as a Free Ride in life, and our story is an example of that.

It was a great read. The author tackled a tough subject and did a great job. The characters are great and the story line is interesting and will keep you reading.
Free Ride was like no other book I've read. Wow, I was just so fascinated and intrigued with the storyline that I could not turn the pages fast enough. The personalities that came out were fascinating and so well written. Benji was such a sweet and loving character. I loved how he kept the notebook of all Harleys personalities and what they were like and what he liked about each one. I enjoyed this book so much. I would very much like to read more of the Shadow Keepers.
Harley suffers from DID Dissociative Identity Disorder AKA multiple personalities. She lived with her neglectful mother until her father brought her to the club. She's grown up there with Benji as her protector. Everyone thinks she's crazy. They're right. Her life is suddenly waking up somewhere she doesn't remember going and doesn't know what she's done. The MC club isn't your family oriented place where they like big bikes and easy women. This is hard core and the loyalties...well some are loyal. Benji is loyal to the woman or women he loves and they are all in one gorgeous body. She resists because she cares and doesn't want him to have to deal with her. This is a hard story. Violent, heart breaking, yet underneath it all there is love. But is it enough? The author gives a vision of the life of a person plagued with this disorder. Does it end with her all well? This is life long. Does she find a way to cope? You need to read this story of fear, courage, loyalty and yes love. It will draw you in, often appall you, yet you have to follow it to the end. An MC story with a real twist. Reviewed for Blog: Words Turn Me On
