About the Author

A lifelong reader, Maddie became a romance junkie as a teen with her first romance novel, The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen Woodiwiss. From then on, she was hooked, and gobbled up everything she could get her hands on, whether contemporary, historical, paranormal or sci-fi. If there was romance to be found between a strong alpha male, and a sassy, adventurous and oftimes defiant yet loving woman Maddie was all over it. As an author, she stays true to those themes writing steamy erotic romance, with a side of kink, and adding elements of intrigue, danger and suspense to her plots.

Maddie started writing as a hobby. Her stories stayed private while she raised a family and worked full time as a registered nurse. It wasn’t until 2012 that she decided to take the plunge and submit her first book for publication: Captain My Captain. She found acceptance at Blushing Books and published an impressive twelve novels the first year.

She’s still juggling writing with her day job and you’ll find her working at her laptop into the wee hours of the night, scribbling plot ideas onto the notebook she always keeps handy, and working out the details of a scene while floating around in her pool with a lemon drop in hand. Don’t be surprised if you see her pulling over on the side of the road to capture an idea for a scene on paper, because as Maddie says, her best ideas always come when there isn’t a pen in a five-mile radius.

This was another great Club Decadence book! I have loved this series since it began, and I cant wait for the next amazing couples story. Im sure it will be just as fun, sweet, suspenseful, and super hot sexy as this book was. These Decadence Doms have that just right mix of super HOT Alpha male and soft gooey center. And each book gives you a good amount of angst and laughs to go with the romance and lovin.

This was a wonderful addition to the Decadence series. It was a reunion of meeting old friends and new ones. The length is great, there is more time to deeply examine the feelings and emotions of the characters. The storyline was brilliant with many twists and turns with action, adventure, danger, violence, BDSM, romance and love. I can hardly wait for the next one.

Oh, these Decadence books!!!!! Whether they are from the Club Decadence or Decadence Nights they are something EXTRA special to read!! I just love how they can all revolve around the same club, and some of the same characters, and yet have such different storylines and backgrounds to their characters, yet ALL be so individually different! As for this one French Kiss, I loved Marilee and Arturo from the get go!! They were slightly older than some of the other characters; Mari having raised her children and losing her husband. Their story was just so special, Arturo knowing just what she needed and through all their surrounding mystery and intrigue they manage to still find their HEA! Love, love, love!!!

LIFE ISN’T ALWAYS FAIR, MA BELLE I enjoyed this second story in the Decadence Nights series. The series has people from previous stories, but each reads as a standalone. The emotions are varied for Marilee, from coping with the death of her husband and master, to wanting release, but never allowing herself to go to the level needed, to learning to live again, and then feeling like everything she believed in was nothing more than lies. From overseas to Texas, MI6 Agent, Arturo Durand, is working a case that has seen several of their operatives murdered, and a link to their Texas-based BSE is having leaks and technology sold to the highest bidder. Arturo turns to his American friends of the Rossi group, and while in town, enjoys their BDSM club. The story has a great cast of characters, many that we have grown to love in previous stories, intriguing storyline, mystery, suspense, angst, passion and high tech spying. What starts out as a one night scene at Decadence, becomes more for Mari and Arturo. What happens when it comes out her late husband was selling BSE secrets? Hurt, confusion, betrayal, and lies, it has Marilee questioning her eighteen-year marriage. Then to learn that you think someone is your friend and they are using you and your business. The plot and characters keep the pages turning in this cat and mouse game of espionage. Some people are players and users, and they don’t care who gets hurt. For Marilee, she wanted Arturo, the whole gorgeous, captivating, sadistic package. As a sadist, he is the first dom who understands her and can make this masochist soar again; they are truly yin and yang.

As with all Club Decadence and Decadence Night books, French Kiss is a must read! It can be read as a standalone and is well written with wonderful characters. The author brought back characters from Club Decadence and seamlessly blended them into the love story of Marilee and Arturo while introducing new characters that will hopefully be seen in future books within this series. This story is nice in length and has many twists and turns within the mystery and action portion. Reading this book kept me on the edge of my seat with action, laughs, tears, sizzling hot sex scenes and spankings with lots of BDSM fun. I highly recommend French Kiss and applaud Maddie Taylor for another successful book to please her fans!!

This is the second book in Maddie’s “Club Decadence” series. I haven’t had the opportunity to read the first yet, but if it is as good as French Kiss, then it will be on my don’t miss list. While the BDSM content of this story is a little more severe than my normal tastes, the plot, pace and writing style more than compensate and make this a book that I thoroughly enjoyed. As a stand-alone action thriller, the book is first class. With the added DOM/SUB theme, it earns a four star rating. Enjoy…….

This book is as good as the others in the Club Decadence – Decadence night series of books. It is a love story wrapped up in an interesting mystery – and with plenty of sex and spanking thrown in for good measure. The story moves quickly, and didn’t slow down at all. I enjoyed the characters, the interaction between them, and the presence of characters from other books in the series. While the book can be read as a stand-alone, knowing something of the other people mentioned did add to my enjoyment of the book.

Another absolutely wonderful book by this author! The two main characters, Mari and Arturo, are developed and complex characters that have lived very productive and full lives before meeting each other. The author drew me into this story from the prologue and kept me fascinated until the very end. In the beginning of the story I was a little concerned that Mari would not live up to the strong women associated with this series – but I could not have been more wrong. I fell in love with this couple and cannot wait to get to updates throughout this series’ remaining stories.

Loving this series. The beginning of the story grabs your attention and makes you want to know what is going to happen next. I love Rachel's spunk and her need to protect. Henri is sweet and wonderful. (I want to take him home). Henri's and Rachel's relationship progressed well. Sex scenes were hot! This is a short read so the story line is quick but totally worth reading.
