'Tis the season for great folly...walawalawalawalala...ribbit.

It's Christmas time at Croakies. The tree is up. The stockings are hung. And Christmas tunes are turning the atmosphere jolly. After a tumultuous Samhain, I've found my chi again and I'm starting to enjoy the season of love and giving.

Yeah. You probably know how this is going to end.

When Sebille suggests I open the bookstore up to a small holiday party, I foolishly agree. How was I supposed to know that the hobgoblin would decide it would be fun to hide everybody's stuff? Or that we'd be hit with a freak winter storm that confined everybody inside for the duration. Or that a "You're me but who am I?" spell would be released inside the shop, switching everybody's identities and creating general chaos and hysteria?

I could probably deal with all that if it weren't for the fact that my friend, Lea...the one person who could possibly reverse the spell...was ensconced in SB the parrot, with no opposable thumbs for spelling.

And me? Of course, I'm sitting fat and squishy inside Mr. Slimy. Thank goodness Rustin isn't currently in residence, or it would be really crowded in here.

Who spelled my party? What do a pair of Santa's elves have to do with it? And why have old enemies suddenly become new friends? I apparently have a little holiday mystery to solve inside Croakies, and I have no idea how I'm going to solve it with everybody mixed up and some of us human.

Have I told you I hate this season?

Loving this series... Frosted Croakies is the fifth book in the Enchanting Inquiries series. This hilarious holiday happening is filled with mischief, mayhem, and magic creating Christmas chaos. With Santa's elves, magic spells, and hobgoblins, this story kept me engaged throughout. I cannot wait to read more books by this author. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

A wild ride during a snow storm! You really gotta watch out for those wacky cookies when you're at This was a truly funny story. Well written and things were so well described that I could envision it all with ease. Several times I found myself laughing out loud and had to stifle myself b/c everyone in the house was asleep. I just found another favourite author!

This is such a fun and compelling paranormal cozy mystery with fabulous characters. I love this holiday celebration at Croakies. This book is, as always with this author, very well-written with plenty of twists to keep me guessing to the end. I am looking forward to the next book in this series as always! Naida is having a Christmas party at Croakies, she is not really feeling like having. Sebille is all for the party and says it is a great way to thank people for shopping there. It is snowing a lot out side, so she is not sure who will brave the storm to come. One person Naida doesn't want to see there is Grym. She still hasn't forgiven him for what she as a betrayal. Grym says that he just wanted to drop of his gift and he will will. As he goes to leave, more come in to shop and stop him from leaving. Naida see and smells cookies, she sees everyone is eating them. She doesn't know who left them, but they do smell good. Sebille even invites Devard, the owner of the vape shop. Her regular customers and her close friends are enjoying themselves. But then two unexpected arrivals come in, saying they broke down. Things start to get really weird in the shop. Naida doesn't know what to do about it. It will take Naida and others to work together to fix what is going on. This was a nice quick read for the series. I am looking forward to the next one, will Naida finally forgive Grym, will there be a relationship between them, what the other characters are up to as well I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
