Gary Blackman was a motorcycle racer and motorcycle dealership owner from Allentown, Pennsylvania. From his humble beginnings as a mechanic and dirt track racer, Gary burst into the professional road racing world by winning his first ever race at Daytona in 1973. He enjoyed many highs and lows between that race and his final one at the 1978 Daytona 200.
