George Washington (1732-1799) was the senior military leader in the United States Army during the American War of Independence, a delegate to the First and Second Continental Congress, and the 1st President of the United States. This work brings together the eight State of the Union Addresses which President Washington delivered to Congress between 1790 and 1796.
