Katie Ward came to Tullamore Castle in Ireland to fulfill her mother’s last request. When she meets the sexy spirit who frequents her suite she is drawn into in his plight. Despite a lifetime of denying her abilities she uses her time at the castle to unravel the mystery of his curse.
Seamus MacDonhnaill had been a woodworker at Castle Tullamore during one of the original expansions. Now, because of the selfish wants of scorned woman, he is cursed to wander the grounds in spirit form. After centuries alone, he’s elated to learn the beautiful American tourist staying in his favorite suite can not only see him but communicate with him.
The two are drawn closer as Seamus reveals not only Tullamore’s history but also the carnal delights to be found in the secret corners of the castle. Katie is determined to break the spell on him before returning to America. To do it she’ll have to enlist the help of the local witch and a few castle ghosts but a chance at true love is worth the risk.

Unlike any romance I’ve read! So. She’s tangible. He’s not. I was so intrigued by this, because how do the hero and heroine show their feelings without touch? In practically every romance I’ve read, they at least have a physical connection to link them. But not here! In addition to the intriguing and STEAMY non-physical relationship between Seamus and Katie, I also got a lovely villain to hate. That’s also a rarity in the books I’ve read lately...and trust me, I love hating the villain! Though a stand-alone, this is part of a series about an enchanted castle, and I couldn’t put this down. I HAD to know how everything turned out, and I met a couple of interesting characters that I hope to meet again...maybe in their own book?!? Dena is certainly very talented, and I would gladly read more of her romances! (I read this book as part of the Emerald Isle Enchantment boxed set)
I've been meaning to read this one for forever. I'm so glad I finally got around to it because it was a yummy read. The thing that always appealed to me about this premise was the ghost (really spirit) thing. I've always been intrigued by stories like this because the challenge of how the hero and heroine would get together when they can't physically touch always seems insurmountable. Dena handles that pesky detail quite nicely. Not only that, she takes some of my favorite erotic story elements and meshes them all together for a delightful read. Seriously, there's not much this story doesn't have--paranormal, erotic, intrigue, suspense, romance, romance, and more romance. What's not to like? Oh, and the best part? Reading the sexytimes parts on a plane. Yes, lady next to me, I caught you. And even if I hadn't, the blush would've given you away. Bet she buys a copy when she gets home...
