Poems begin, poems end. But in-between the poet is often surprised by the journey.
The process of creating a poem is only partly conscious. Some poems come to the poet completely composed and only have to be written down.
Others struggle to be born, a few have a long gestation period, but none have not surprised, as the poet sometimes feels only an observer to the leaps of logic in his poetry, he is nonetheless happy to catch these special grasshoppers.
