About the Author

Brenda Hughes Anderson can usually be found on their farm in Idaho, enjoying her animals or working in her garden. She has always enjoyed farm life. It is on her grandfather's farm where her love for animals began. This love of animals is why she ended up with her "farm zoo" and later went on to write her first children's book "Slippers for Hannah". Her books feature pictures of her live farm animals with uplifting stories. From there her series "The Farmers Wife" began with her second, & favorite book, "The Christmas Gift, a story told by Grandma Cookie." The adventures continue with her latest book in the series "Buffy's Wish." Her next series "Green Bean" is based on a true story. She was inspired to write this story by a family very dear to her. The series begins with "Rescuing Green Bean." Brenda is a wife, mom, and grandmother and loves to spend time with family and friends.
