Pretty good for the most part. I love Grimm. The only problem i have with the book is the way Nick and Juliette are portrayed. They work together now he doesn't not tell her anything now. And it wasnt that way in the book. I know book is different than show. Just saying would be nice to see more of them working together! Going to buy the 2nd hope more come out.

The book Grimm “the Icy Touch” is in the supernatural/fantasy genre and is like the book “The brother Grimm’s”. The point of view of the story is told through Nick Burkhardt’ perspective. The readers know what he’s thinking and can see his actions. The setting of the story is set in Portland, Oregon 2013. The main protagonist in the story is Nick Burkhardt who is a Grimm. A Grimm is a person who has the ability to see what no normal person can see or even comprehend without going crazy. They can see a person’s true form and people who have a true form are called wesen. Wesen are creatures that live inside a person and only come out when they’re angry or upset or when they want to be seen, they can hide it well from normal people, but it is harder for them to hide there wesen nature from a Grimm. And in tradition the Grimm’s would hunt down the wesen and kill them. But, Nick is a different kind of Grimm, he only kills a wesen when he has to. Most the time he does his job to take care of wesen, Nick is a police detective who uses his knowledge about wesen to help with his cases (which are usually wesen related). Some of the other characters in the story are Nicks partner in the 3rd precinct Hank Griffin Who is just a normal human but knows about Grimm’s and what wesen are. There also Monroe Who is nicks friend. Juliet, who is Nick’s girlfriend. And Rosalie who is Monroe’s girlfriend. And lastly the captain of the police, Shaun Renard. Story starts out in Portland When there’s a series of murders connected to a wesen organization called the “icy Touch”. Nick and Hank are put on the case until it is taken over by the FBI and Nick and Hank continue investigating because the FBI has no knowledge about wesen so they had no idea what they were up against. So using Nicks Grimm abilities and from the help of his friends they make an attempt to take down the Icy touch organization. Id rate this book a 4 out 5 stars because it really hooks you and makes you finish the book In one sitting.
