I am amazed at this author's ability to hold my interest and imagination through plot turns, disasters and emotional upheavals. This book is the darkest of the series, but I will not put any spoilers here. You must read the whole series to understand why the ending is so perfect. This is not a Harry Potter or a Percy Jackson whose moral stance and fight for the good is untrammeled by angst or uncertainty. Adrian Howell is a much more nuanced character who agonizes over his actions and path in a a manner bound to enthrall the reader. Consistent with the character's growth through the series, we see Adrian face challenges that would unnerve the bravest reader. How he responds to the challenges he faces makes a finale as right and profound as that in any series for young adults.

I don't know what to say, I don't write the best reviews. And this series deserves promotion, this Author deserves recognition.  And I hope he get's it. Because this series was amazing from start to finish.

Loved all the books. So good I didn't want it to end. This should be a movie, much better then harry potter. Also great that all books were already done when each one finished. Got the first book Wild Born off bookbub for free, had to buy them all.

Finished all five in less than a week! Whole series worth every penny! Author did awesome edits and no typos or mixups noted ( really hate sloppiness in epubs!). Readers all will find enjoyment in the ups and downs and twists and turns. Easy reading, no fancy big undigestible words. Just plain good. Kudos to the author!

I read the whole series in less than a week and would definitely recommend it. Kudos to the author for writing the whole story and releasing the books in a short period of time. I wish all authors would do that for purely selfish reasons on my part.

I completely enjoyed this entire series. I loved the twists, and the conflicting ways that the characters found solutions to their many issues. I am a big fan of the James Patterson ' s Maximum Ride series, and I would put this series right up there with that. I really enjoyed the characters, particularly Ed Regis. Although I was somewhat unhappy with where some of the characters ended up, I don't think I would've changed a thing about it. Like the author says, he didn't want a fairytale. I hope to see more from this author, and I find myself very sad that this ride has ended.

I loved the book , but the only thin I didn't like was that SPOILER ALERT Adrian has to kill his sister, and that when he finally does, he ends up killing terry and destroying cindy's mind

Surprisingly this series is a very good read.  I was looking for something different to read & the first book was a free book on Book hub.   I was hooked & have purchased all the books in the series.
