About the Author
I've spent nearly two decades in high tech, working for a variety of organizations at all stages of growth and as an independent consultant. I've had an interest in writing since I was old enough to put pen to paper, but recently decided to make the jump off the proverbial cliff and switch to writing full time. I've mostly worked in tech, but along the way, I've studied a variety of martial arts including Latosa Escrima, Wing Tsun, and Tae Kwon Do as well as dabbling a teeny bit with combat handgunnery. I've lived in the back country of the American Southwest, hiking, climbing, whitewater canoeing, and caving. I've even competed in a ballroom competition or two.

I happened across the first book and was very pleased with the story and the characters, to be honest I waited with held breath for this second book. It did not disappoint and now I am sad that I can read faster then the author can write (patience never being one of my strong suits). The story has depth and as it progresses I am looking at all the characters and questioning their realities as they seem to shift individually in each book. I was thrilled to find a series that contained adults for a change, only so many fresh faced high school kids I can suffer, characters with an actual past was refreshing. I encourage anyone to read this book as the complex plot and rich characters were nice to discover
