Hard Women

For more than a century, Alida Hard, grandmother, Dorothy Hard, wife and mother, Ruth Hard, daughter, faced many challenges in their times. Their experiences included life on the West Australian goldfields in the early 1900s, farming in the south west of Western Australia during the Great Depression and World War 11 and, along with family grief, travels both national and

international. They left a legacy that has provided their family network with pride and confidence.
