About the Author

Lisa Cypers Kamen, MA, is the executive director of Harvesting Happiness for Heroes (HH4Heroes). Lisa is an international documentarian on the origins of personal happiness whose film H-Factor…Where Is Your Heart? is utilized in select colleges and universities throughout the country and overseas as an integrated curriculum in the study of positive psychology work. Kamen is highly regarded as a radio host, author, and guest lecturer at universities, including USC. She is also recognized as a top happiness expert in the industry and has a master's degree in spiritual psychology from the University of Santa Monica, whose personal mission is helping those in post-traumatic situations reconstruct a new base point of happiness for growth and sustained well-being. In conjunction with Ms. Kamen's master's degree and industry experience, she obtained training from the Center for Deployment Psychology and received a positive psychology coaching certification from Dr. Robert Biswas-Diener to further enhance her skills. In addition to her film on happiness, Lisa has also published a number of articles. Her first print books, titled Are We Happy Yet? and Reintegration Strategies, about combat trauma and using positive psychology principles in the post-deployment reintegration process, will be published in mid-2012.
