I really enjoyed reading this story as Seth & Ally went from best friends to so much more. There were lots of laughs and great character interactions. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

From sunshine moments to cloudy days, in life we all experience our share of rain. What makes it tolerable is a strong sense of family and a great group of friends. What happens when family ties are non-existent and the bonds of friendship are put to the test? Taryn Quinn blurs the line between friendship and lovers. Seduction is on the agenda when hormones and hearts collide, but will the growing pains along the way prove to be the reason why a longstanding friendship is on the verge of dying? Have My Baby is a tale of sacrifice and new beginnings that leans more toward naughty with a hint of nice. Once I got past the dirty talk, Seth and Ally were a pleasant surprise.

I love books like this, friends into lovers. That's basically what this story is. Yes, Seth comes up with a weird-as-hell plan to get a sibling for his daughter from a previous relationship. But, come on, really... Is there anything hotter than a single dad who so obviously loves his little girl? Ally has been Seth's best friend for years, so witnessing the dynamics change between Seth and Ally was a joy to watch. Even with Ally's, sometimes comical, escapes. Thoroughly enjoyed reading Have My Baby, but now I have to wonder what Taryn Quinn might have up the sleeve for Oliver, Seth's twin brother. Curiously waiting.

HAVE MY BABY is the first installment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult DIRTY DILFs erotic romance series. This is thirty year old, single father and successful real estate agent Seth Hamilton , and waitress Allison ‘Ally’ Lawrence’s story line. Told from dual first person perspective (Seth and Ally) HAVE MY BABY is a best friends to lovers story line that follows the building, romantic relationship between high school best friends- a relationship years in the making. Ally Lawrence has been in love with her best friend since they were both fifteen years old but Seth Hamilton thought he found his happily ever after with someone else. Fast forward to present day-One marriage, one child, and one divorce later, Seth is hoping to expand his immediate family by adding another child into the mix. Enter his best friend Ally Lawrence, and the woman he has always loved. What ensues is the building relationship, and awkward negotiations between Ally and Seth when Ally realizes that Seth only wants her for the baby making process. Ally Lawrence is a thirty year old virgin; saving herself for the only man that she will ever love but a man too oblivious to the fact that his best friend has been in love with him for a number of years. Seth Hamilton doesn’t want another relationship; his first marriage was a complete failure; offering Ally everything she has ever wanted came with a price. The relationship between Ally and Seth is one of mutual friendship and love, although Seth is having a difficult time understanding what it is he is feeling and why. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and intense; our heroine tends to ‘run’ to avoid the morning after ‘walk of shame’. We are introduced to Seth’s twin brother Oliver; their father; and Seth’s four year old daughter Laurie; as well as Ally’s co-worker and friend Sage Evans. HAVE MY BABY is a story of friendship and love; second chances and a happily ever after. The premise is cute, fun and sexy; the characters are colorful and lively; the romance is passionate and energetic. HAVE MY BABY is a heartwarming and inspiring story of romance and love.

This book puts a different spin on the Have my baby but not as a relationship romantic trope. Seth and Ally have been best friends since high school. Ally has also secretly loved Seth since high school. She’s been there for him through all of his failed relationships. He’s now a single father of a 4 year old daughter who desperately wants a sibling. Her mother took off when she was a baby so that leaves Seth as the parent to give her a sibling. He’s not in a committed relationship and sees none on his horizon, which leads to him propositioning his best friend. He just was unaware of the fact that Ally is a virgin. That leads to a very interesting story. I loved following their journey to happily ever after and highly recommend this book.

It's been almost 4 years since Seth Hamilton's wife walked away from their marriage and their daughter, but Seth is just fine with being a single dad. Plus he has his best friend Ally to help out. But when his daughter starts asking for a sister what's a bachelor to do? Ally has spent most of her life caring for her sick mother and now that she is gone Ally must figure out what to do with her life. When her best friend approaches her with an idea he has, Ally is beyond floored! She has been in love with Seth since she was fifteen but she hasn't been willing to ruin the relationship by acting on her feelings. Now Seth is asking her for the one thing she would love more than anything but can't fathom the damage it could cost her emotionally if she agrees. Plus, there is that pesky little secret she has that may just send Seth running the other direction. I could not put this book down! A friends to lovers sexy-sweet read, this book is not to be missed!

Holy exploding ovaries! Did you see that cover? Lawd, after the first glance I needed a moment or ten for my heart and parts south to stop fluttering. After getting us wound up with the famazing cover, Taryn Quinn doubles down with a sexy, doting, single father to an adorable 4 yr. old girl; a down-to-earth heroine who’s been his BFF since high school; and a fun and surprisingly emotional story. Despite making me tear up a few times, it has a lighter feel than the normal TQ story, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I adored the heroine from her first appearance. She’s a straight shooter with a soft heart who let the hero get away with very little. He’s hot, devoted to those he loves, but sometimes a typical male whose cluelessness causes unnecessary angst. Once they give in to the chemistry that’s been simmering for over a decade, things heat up quickly and often. They quickly make up for lost time, and it’s incredibly erotic. The heroine’s best friend is an absolute riot, and the hero’s twin brother grumpily sexy. They’re less than fond of each other, so their snarkiness adds a real punch to the story. I can only hope we see these two again, together or with other partners. Having My Baby definitely has all sorts of feels, but what I loved most was the banter between the characters, both main and secondary. It was clever & snarky, and I hope Taryn Quinn has more stories like this in store for us soon.

I was a little iffy about reading this book. After reading the blurb I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it or if it would hold my attention. But I decided why not? I love books by Taryn Quinn and the writing is always excellent so I'll give it a shot! Boy am I ever glad I did! This is the first book in the Dirty DILF's series. It's about Seth Hamilton and his best friend Ally Lawrence. They have been best friends since high school, although Ally has always felt more for him but never let it be known. Seth has an adorable daughter Laurie that he is raising on his own, with help from Ally. His daughter has let it be know that she wants a little sister, or a puppy LOL! And since Seth doesn't trust women (or relationships in general) he decides to ask his best friend to have his baby so he can give his daughter a sibling. Ally is a down to earth woman who has had a crappy life. Her mother had cancer through high school and her young adult years, so she put her own life on hold to help take care of her. Not because she had to, but because she loved her mother. Her mother has now passed away and Ally is struggling to make ends meet while still thinking about her own dreams. And when Seth asks her to have his baby? That completely throws her and sparks fly! I loved this book from start to finish. I was hooked from the moment I started reading and couldn't put it down until I finished it. It was that good. Ally is snarky, sweet, loving and just generally a great character! Her other best friend cracked me up from the get go (and I honestly can't wait to read a book about her!!) and the way she always has her back is just awesome! Seth is just a sweet man. He was born to money but he doesn't act like a lot of people who have that kind of money do. His childhood wasn't great, his mother left and his father was never truly there the way a parent should be. He is close to his brother, although he doesn't realize a few things about his brother (and I hopeful Oliver will have a book too). Seth loves his daughter more than anything and you can tell that just by the interactions between them. Laurie, omg Laurie, this little girl is so adorably cute! Even with her mother not being in the picture, she is so well adjusted and just generally happy that you couldn't help but to love her. And then to throw all these characters together into a book? I loved it! I was so glad they figured out in the end what everyone else knew from the beginning! This was another book that was well written with such great characters that i fell in love with it! Can't wait for the next one!!

If your looking for a single dad romance you'll want to meet Seth. This is a romance that delivers with hot sexy scenes, fun and humor. You may not think much of Scorer Seth the first few pages, but the way he treats and cares for his daughter Laurie will have you melting. When Laurie wants a sibling Seth realizes he doesn't want her to grow up alone, that he really wants another baby. He turns to someone he trusts, his best friend since high school Ally, she has always been there for him. So he offers to pay for her schooling anywhere she wants to go in exchange for having his baby. If Ally agrees to the plan it will change their friendship forever, possibly break it forever. The sex between them is HOT and the emotions between them are engaging.

Loved this one, but then it's really hard not to. A sexy single dad with an adorable little girl along with his best friend since high school. Ally is Seth’s go to for everything. She's been there for him since Laurie was born and has filled the role of her mom without the "strings" and he's totally blind to what is right in front of him. When Seth presents Ally with a contract the fun just begins! Another emotion-filled read by Taryn Quinn. I'm so excited there will be more - I can't wait to read about Sage.

A beautiful story with depth and character. I fell in love with this book within the first two chapters. And I don't generally read single parent romance stories, but this one? Wonderful. I have read many of Taryn Quinn's books. They are fantastic story weavers. My favorites have always been their rockstar series, Lost in Oblivion, Found in Oblivion and Hammered. So imagine my own surprise when I moved Have My Baby to the top of the list. I never would have thought it possible. There is just something about Seth and Ally that captured me.

Great quick read I absolutely loved this quick awesome read by Taryn Quinn. Ally is a great character that never told her best friend how much she loved her best friend and helped him raise his little girl. Seth wants another child and asks Ally to be the coparent since they are such great friends. What could go wrong. Taryn Quinn has one it again and has written a book that you don't wAnt to put down.

Insta-love? Nah, more like a delicious awareness that's been percolating just below the surface for quite some time. Suffice to say that the lovely and talented ladies that make up Taryn Quinn have done another great job of delivering an immensely readable and totally enjoyable book that is chock-full of friendship, requited love, steamy times galore, and one heck of a cute kid. The longtime friendship between Seth and Ally makes for a slightly complicated foray into the not-so-friends-only zone, and ratchets up the heat to inferno temps. Fan, anyone? Seth is a won't take no for an answer kind of guy (because, duh, he is a guy), which is somehow charming here, mostly, I think, because Ally's sassy and strong ability to call him on all of his guy-ness. So, sexy, sweet, and downright heartwarming, plus a curmudgeonly twin brother (his) and a hoot of a best friend (hers) that both deserve a story of their own? How could this be anything less than a 4.5 star read for me? Don't let the title mislead you; Taryn Quinn fans old and new will love HAVE MY BABY, because it is so much more than you're expecting. Add it, read it, love it.

Ok, this was pretty comical. Only a guy can fumble up asking his best friend to let him knock her up by contract. It took almost half the book for Seth to realize how badly his proposal sounded, but it didn't change the fact that he still wanted a baby with Ally. He wants his daughter to have siblings and he can't think of any woman better for providing said siblings. It also opened his eyes to his true feelings for her and unlocked his libido. If she wasn't so skittish and running away all the time, he might actually convince her this was a good idea. Despite their years of being friends only, once Seth started looking at Ally like a woman, his attention to her was pretty hot. Little 4 year old Laurie was adorable and to see Seth be such a good dad to her was even hotter. This was a funny story that turned super cute at the end. This was my first read from this author and I was completely entertained. I will be checking out more books from her. ARC provided by NetGalley.
