Heavy Louis

In the Depression-era, textile mills were often the lifeblood of Southern rural communities. In 1933, the young daughter of a prominent mill owner is found murdered, and a young autistic boy – unable to speak for himself – is arrested for the crime. It's up to a local newspaper reporter, a disliked transplant with a penchant for sticking his nose in, to ask the difficult questions in Andrew Baltzegar's latest short story - "Heavy Louis."
