Helen's Summer

In the summer of 1885, Helen Kerr, is an ordinary middle-class girl, working in her father's Manhattan print shop. She is a girl with a future, a girl with a plan and it doesn't include marriage. Then Helen and her best friend, Caroline, are invited to the country for three months. They sign on as under-gardeners at the wealthy Vandenberg family's summer house.
