Overview

This is a short manual intended to help Professors, but mostly just anybody, use Microsoft Word 2010. This is a project I made for my English 380 class at UMass Amherst, and now I am making it into an ebook for another class English 382. (Both classes are part of the PWTC Program, Professional Writing and Technical Communications)

Sorry if the pages look funny. This is more an experiment to see if I can self-publish something, I don't have time to make it look great.

About the Author

Daniel S. Ronan is going to be graduating from UMass Amherst with an English degree. He doesn't want to become a teacher, which is what everybody asks him as soon as they find out he studied English. He is part of the PWTC program at UMass Amherst. It's a great program that helped him get a job at a large wafer handling/semi-conductor company. He got the job before he even graduated! That's awesome for an English major! But he starts 5 days after his last final, so that's kind of annoying not having a summer vacation and stuff. It's weird writing a bio about myself. I have no idea if this is stuff anybody would want to read.... ummm... I'm 23. I'm from Massachusetts. I'm excited about starting a job. I like podcasts. I've been juggling a lot. I also like Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's a great show. What else.... I have no idea. I'm ranting now. I will probably be the only person to download this ebook from BN (or as I like to call it. B. Nobs).
