About the Author

With an overactive imagination from an early age, Yvonne created vivid stories in her mind in which she was the lead character. It wasn't long before she decided to take these stories from her mind and pen them to paper.

A romantic at heart, Yvonne loves short stories and romantic suspense. She writes primarily about relationships. At first, she wrote only for herself. But out of her passion for writing evolved a collection of stories.

Yvonne has published two collections of short stories, "The Wedding and Other Short Romantic Stories," showcasing her romantic collection. "The Invitation and Other Short Stories," a dramatic collection.

Her debut romantic suspense novel, Hide 'N Seek is the first of her suspense novels.

She lives in Canada. Check out her website at www.yvonneharriott.com

This is a pretty fast at only 190 pages. The grammer and editing are pretty poor. The lack of commas is very distracting and often confusing. Words are plural, when they should be singular. The murders are tame, there is some violence, but not the bloods and guts kind. There is no cursing, religion, homosexuality or drug abuse. There is prior child sexual abuse and indifferent parenting. The conclusion is very predictable. This is a PI mystery with a dab of romance thrown in. There is several episodes of sexual encounters which are a tad above mildly explicit. There are two PI firms in this book. Both have been tramatized by past relationships. Almost all the characters have had loved ones murdered. I found many of the characters, especially the two main ones annoying. I have read better and worse books, thus the three star rating. For roostrrs and chicks, ages 18 and up. AD

Well I have to tell you that I didn't think it would be all that good, but it was a good Saturday read. Its about a female P.I. and her name is Marki, anyways she has a sister who all of a sudden came up missing. So Marki has to find her, and also try and figure out why she was abducted. Marki runs into a male, who ows a Security comp[any, by the name of Beck, so they get together to find out whats going on with Sydney, and who kidnapped her. There is alot of action, and suspense, and a small portion of a thriller ion a few chapters, but in all, it was worth a free read...

About 204 pages. This was a great book! Loved the characters, loved the story. I could have done without the romance, but, I made it through! I recommend this book!

Typical formulaic romance mystery, just average. Too bad, as the author has potential.

I don't think I would call this a mystery. You pretty much know what's happening from the beginning. The only question is can they catch the criminal before its too late. I didn't like the romantic storyline as much. The relationship wasn't built up very much so to me it seemed like it was all based on sexual tension. That made it hard for me to believe they were really in love.
