I received a free copy of this book through netgalley and voluntarily reviewed it. I've been enjoying this series so far, so I was looking forward to this third book that follows the last brother Cam and meeting the person he'll fall in love with. This was a great read, it was easy to fall into this story and I enjoyed seeing these two fall in love. His Accidental Heir features Cam, who has always been the most impulse of the three brothers, although now that we actually get his point of view, he did seem a bit less so. But at the same time I felt like we got a better view of him less overshadowed by that one personality trait, but it was still there. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy Cameron because of his impulse action in the first book, but I was surprised by how loving and caring he could be. He was so good with Maresa and caring for her family as well. And I liked how at the end of the book he realized a broadened meaning of the term family was a good thing. I also liked the dog who Cam was caring for in this book. Maresa is the female main character here, she was a very capable character who worked hard and cared very much about her family. There's a instant attraction when she meets Cameron, but it takes a while before they act upon it. She has had a tough life and now an infant is dropped in her lap and I was impressed she handled it all so well and stayed caring and nice. There is a tad of forbidden romance as he's technically her boss, besides that there's very little drama or conflict, which was nice. I did roll my eyes when Cam made the same "mistake" as his brother's did in the previous books. It just got a bit old and I had rather seen another plot point used as conflict. I enjoyed this book. It was fun to see a short scene at the end where we saw the other brothers and their wives. I had hoped to meet the "other" McNeill's in this book, but that wasn't the case. I am happy to hear they all get their own book and this book will get 3 more books. If you're looking for a good solid romance with great characters I would recommend this series. To summarize: this was another good book in this series. I liked getting to know the third brother, Cam. I wasn't sure if I would like him because of something that happened in book 1, but I was pleasantly surprised by his character and how nice and caring he was. I also liked Maresa, she has a lot going on, but she handled everything well and stays nice and caring. I liked reading about these two falling in love, although I didn't really care for the conflict as it was basically the same conflict point the previous two books used. But overall this is a fun series with solid romances and I am glad there will be 3 more books.

What a delightful story! From the first moment, the author paints such a vivid and clear images of the beautiful tropical paradise making it effortless to submerge into the scenes and live in the moment with the charming characters, forgetting everything around you, just focusing on the story. Maresa Delphine is a champion of a woman, a true heroine. She willingly put her own life to the side to take care of her family, and carry the responsibility of her mother and brother, even her niece, when the need arisen. Yet she was able to perform in her demanding job in a stellar way, never avoiding a responsibility. I admired her strength, her spunk, her artful way to serve others around her humbly, yet with a thankful and uplifting spirit. Cameron McNeill was a hunk of a hero! I so wish now that I had read the book one in the series because I know he had a secondary role in the story and I loved him! He is a Knight in shining armor. So thoughtful, helpful, kind, and considerate, while a shark of a businessman, smart and successful. His mornings with the baby had me swooning big time, him lifting her in his arms for the first time was such a tender and sweet moment. Maresa and Cameron were setting off some serious sparks. I loved the ease of them being together, they fit, the connection was authentic, the attraction palpable, and their feelings towards each other believable though instant. While the story does confront several types of family drama and trouble, mostly the tone is joyful and lively, a story that makes you smile and sigh with sunny and cheerful thoughts, just what I needed when I picked up the book. And there is a Finn in a walk-on role at the resort! Oh, that just made my day because it is the little things in life that matter, and that felt like a warm hug! If you are looking for a vacation reading material, I would recommend getting the whole series with you, because if the weather does not co-operate with sunny days, these stories will deliver it for sure! ~ Four Spoons with a teaspoon on the side

***Received a reader's copy in exchange for a fair and honest review*** Cameron McNeill is a millionaire resort developer who goes undercover at the Carib Grand hotel to find out why his hotel is getting bad reviews. There he meets the irresistible Maresa Delphine, the hotel's concierge. He can't fight his attraction to her but her role in solving the hotel's problems is vital to it's success. Maresa can't understand why she is attracted to the hotel's newest surly client but is determined to keep things between them strictly professional. When she unexpectedly becomes a single mother, she is shocked by how helpful and supportive Cam is. While I enjoy books that is written and read smoothly, this book was just a little too smooth. They started with Cam keeping secrets and the expected fall-out wasn't there. I was waiting for the moment that would test their blooming relationship but surprisingly is wasnt there. Everything was just resolved a little too quickly in this book. It was still an enjoyable romantic story though.

Feel-good romance at it’s best! The McNeill brothers are strong, powerful and take-charge kind of guys … but they are falling hard and becoming teddy bears as love crosses each of their paths! We saw Cameron heading out on a tear in the first book in the series, and now it’s finally his story. A sexy bachelor with a heart of gold reaches out to help a wounded soul. Looking forward to seeing what happens when more family is brought into the series! When Cameron McNeill goes in undercover as a demanding guest at the latest McNeill Resorts acquisition in the Caribbean, he just plans to find out what is making their customer satisfaction scores go down lately. He doesn’t expect to fall under the spell of the lovely concierge Maresa Delphine, but he can’t deny his attraction to her … but first and foremost, he needs her help! Maresa is dealing with one thing after another with her ailing family, and she’s just been handed an infant to raise on top of everything else. She is overwhelmed to say the least. When Cameron offers her a way to make ends meet more easily while progressing the health of those around her, how can she refuse … even if it does require becoming his bride for a year!

This is book #3, in The McNeill Magnates series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order. Cameron has already made a mess of proposing to a stranger in the past. When he meets the real person he thinks he should marry, he wonders, is it for the right reasons? They are already compatible. Cannot keep their hands off one another. Maresa is in the middle of so much. She is the anchor for all around her. Can she give in to what she wants or needs at the sake of so many others? Or will being with Cam be the one thing that pulls it all together? For the sake of her family and her heart she must keep it all together. This series has been just terrific! My only complaint, was that this book felt rushed somehow. I love the characters, and really enjoyed the recurring favorites in this title as well. I sure hope we see more of these McNeill's! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

4 stars His Accidental Heir by Joanne Rock was a beautiful and heartwarming read. The storyline was well written, the characters were strong, passionate and very relatable. From the first few pages I knew this was going to be a good read. I easily connected with Maresa and my heart went out to her. She had so much going on in her life and not once did she think of putting her needs in front of her family's. To her family was always number one. I loved her heart and her honesty. Cameron's character took a little longer for me to connect with, but slowly I started seeing the real man behind the harda** he was portraying. He had a huge heart who only wanted the best for Maresa. These two might not have been looking for love but they had met their soul mate in each other. I loved them together and had no doubt they would have a long and happy life together. His Accidental Heir is a lovely and emotional read and I highly recommend it.

There is something about seeing a big strong man felled by a smiling 12-lbs bundle of joy (be it human, canine, or feline) that gets me every time. Such is the case in Joanne Rock’s latest, His Accidental Heir, as Cameron McNeill falls hard for Maresa Delphine and her niece Isla. The most impulsive McNeill, I think Cameron is also the one with the biggest heart so it was fun watching him fall for this ready-made family. The story sizzles with all of Rock’s trademark chemistry and heart. You can easily pick this one up without reading the first two in the series. It is the perfect escape from a hot summer day. I am very much looking forward to more McNeill’s next year. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

Cam turned out to be nothing like I imagined. He hid his complexities well. The playboy billionaire turned out to have his own set of demons that he hid quite well. The reckless and fearless tycoon, turned out to have one nick in his armor. The fear of not being good enough. Despite all his accomplishments, he saw himself as the weak link in the McNeill dynasty and he turned out to be much stronger than he knew. When a recent acquisition leads to events that rock his world, Cam finds himself discovering in his weakest moments, what his strengths really are. Maresa is a great heroine and a perfect counterpart to Cam. She humanizes him and he completes her. His Accidental Heir ended up surprising me.
