Hollywood Scandals by Gemma Halliday, Ashley Clements

From New York Times, USA Today, and number one Kindle bestselling author Gemma Halliday...

Tina Bender is the gossip columnist at the infamous L.A. Informer tabloid. She knows everything about everyone who's anyone. And she's not afraid to print it. That is, until she receives a threatening note, promising, "If you don't stop writing about me, you're dead." Now her managing editor Felix Dunn (from the High Heels Mysteries), has her teaming with a built bodyguard, a bubbly blonde, and an alcoholic obituary writer to uncover just which juicy piece of Hollywood gossip is worth killing over.

Even with the spelling errors that are usually distracting for me, I enjoyed the humor of the Aunts . I am 64 and loved this book, I have read 4 of Gemma's books since December, and love them. I feel like I am right there in the action. Yes it was predictable but still an enjoyable read. Thanks for the entertainment that is so much better than the T.V.!!!!!

I enjoyed this book a lot, kept me laughing and on the edge of my seat, guessing what was going to happen next. A book full of wacky characters I think you will enjoy.

A quick read. The character development is thin and the plot spotty. Editing very dicey, especially towards the end of the book. Might not have finished it if it had been longer. Not a bad story line, just not well-developed enough.

The three main Characters were rather well developed.

This is a good read. Laugh out loud funny at times while sweet and tender at others...with some great action mixed in. I will definitely read more in this series.

I missed this disclaimer and when I started reading it I thought "I know this story". Loved the story, just disappointed that I paid AGAIN for the same book. I know buyer beware.

This book was OK. The ending was good, but I had trouble staying interested in the story throughout the beginning and middle. I can't say I'd recommend it, but I would give the series one more try because I did like the main character and her Aunt.

I really enjoyed this book. The situations were very real and who doesn't want purple hair? Tina Bender is very savvy and can snoop out a scoop on the latest Hollywood stars. She spins funny headlines about them and gossip. Cal, her bodyguard is pretty hot too!
