Overview

Millions of readers have fallen in love with Ava's bestselling books...come join the family.

International Bestselling Author Ava Miles shares a powerful tale about the sweetness of home and falling in love for the first time.

Chase Parker doesn't believe in all that gushy home sweet love stuff.

Moira Hale sure as heck does.

Becoming a respected corporate executive of a billionaire enterprise is more enduring, according to Chase. He lost his home in a tragedy as a kid and doesn't plan on building another one ever again. But he finds himself stuck in small town Dare Valley recovering from a skiing accident-and in a home much like the one he lost.

Moira is excited to have her first real home in addition to a fantabulous new job, working in tandem with Chase's boss on a high-powered fundraiser. She and Chase don't have to worry about an office romance technically because they don't work together. And so, while Chase is recovering, they decide to "hang out" and enjoy each other.

Neither anticipate how deep their feelings go. Chase certainly doesn't expect to sift through the ashes of his past in order to heal and share his memories with Moira-or find comfort in all the things he'd locked away. But soon Chase discovers how sweet home can be...all the while falling in love.

Good book and I would recommend it to someone to read. I started reading your books because my god daughter's name is Ava.

What was the point of this book? That meddling is good? That a guy working hard for the benefit of others is bad? I like books that give all characters some human qualities not ones that just make one seem like a jerk while everyone else is perfect. Won’t read any more by this author.

A terrific new chapter in the Dare Valley series! Ms Miles has created another wonderful book in her Dare River series, bringing back glimpses of old favorite characters, as well as giving us insight into new ones. Dare Valley has been as much of a character as the people who live there…making me want to visit this fabulous place! I cannot wait to see where she goes from here! Home Sweet Love by Ava Miles is the 10th book in the Dare Valley series. While it is not my favorite in the series, it was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Moira and Chase are both strong, independent personalities. Watching them learn how to balance trust and love with still remaining independent was fascinating. I loved the fact that when Chase was opening up his heart and soul to Moira, she didn't try to use platitudes or pat answers to make things better. Instead, she sat with him, held him when he cried, and was just there. As a survivor of trauma, I can testify that there is no better feeling than to have someone you love, whether relative, friend, or significant other, just be there. There's no need for words or reassurance. There's just a need to have someone to listen. That's exactly what Moira does for Chase and it's one of the greatest gifts she could give him. Being back in the familiar setting of Dare Valley was lovely. When you read a book in a favorite series, it's like "coming home" in a sense. This book was no exception to that. Similarly, it was great to see the majority of the extended Dare Valley family. The only thing I didn't like in this one is that I didn't like how Evan was "handling" Chase. Forcing someone to face their past is not always a good thing; it's easy for such "good intentions" to backfire and for the intended person to become even more embittered and hardened. Luckily, it worked out this time around and Chase was able to heal, not only from this newer trauma, but from the trauma in his earlier life. As is usually the case, we got a "sneak peek" at the next book in the series by seeing interactions between the next couple to be featured. After seeing how J.T. & Caroline interacted together, I'm very excited for their book! All-in-all, it was a great book and I highly recommend it! ** I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Ava Miles may categorize her novels as fiction, but there is something about the depth of truth in the relationships she builds between her characters that makes them seem like non-fiction. Moira and Chase face hardships of overlapping companies and an almost fatal accident, but their relationship strengthens and strains during this time. However, the one true element that survives is love. While life sometimes seems to stand in the way JT Merriam sets the record straight with Chase…one can love their job and have a life too. What that means for Chase and Moira is for one to read in Home Sweet Love. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I love this book, and I've read all of Ava Miles' novels!!!! Healing is a painful process, but well worth it. Sometimes that means delving into past hurts that burdened us in ways we didn’t know they had, and learning to forgive others and ourselves. For driven, ambitious men such as Chase Parker, it also meant getting in touch with his nurturing side, something that Moira always knew he had in him. All of life is a journey, and sometimes those tough obstacles do help our strengths become honed as we choose to develop our character and remain open to opportunities that come to us. For those of us who have been workaholics, take a page from Chase’s book and learn to find the mind/body/spirit balance in our lives so that we’re ready to have a love that’s inspiring and won’t stand in the way of our strong drive to succeed. Savor the small things in life, like the soothing purring of kittens, continuing hobbies that satisfy our souls, and taking time to really be in the moment with someone who loves us. Balance is key. There is such depth to Chase and I loved him so much. The emotion in this book was amazing to experience. I'm excited there will be more to this series, but I'm curious how many more we can get.

This is another great Ava Mile’s book. I have loved all of her books and this is no exception. This is a book from the Dare Valley series. You do NOT have to read them all, or in order to appreciate this book. In this book we learn about Chase Parker and his past, he isn’t a gushy guy with sentiments of home, love and family. He hides in his work and soon has to learn a different way. Chase Parker is the CFO of Quid-Atch, the company that is in charge of The Artemis Institute of Innovation, a private institute designed to foster young inventors helping them with seed money and training at Emmits Merriam University in Dare Valley. Moira Hale is the director of The Artemis Institute of Innovation, and she works in some ways with Chase as they oversee the Institutes first fundraiser. Moira steps in to be a friend, and their feelings that were hanging around, might make things more interesting. Chase does not have sweet, happy memories of a loving fun home. Moira Hale is from a big loving family that is all about love, supporting each other and home. Moira is the human resource and go to person for the Institute working with Evan and Chase is her boss. Chase has a skiing accident that brings up issues of his past, and the fact that he works so much. He has to learn how to relax and take time off from work to heal. Chase and Mora are both big human resource people/ rule following, so they are very concerned about what could happen working together if something does not work out, especially because in Chase’s mind it was a temporary thing. I love learning about Chase’s past and following how he and Mora start to become more than friends, and having fun learning more about each other. Chase has a sentimental, caring side that we learn about slowly throughout the book. I love how healers of different types to try and heal Chase faster are introduced into the story as I feel it adds an interesting level to the book. Acupuncturist, Qigong and a healer are used to help with more emotional healing but also his physical healing. Here Chase learns that he needs more than work to be happy and live a good life. Will Chase be able to open back up to love after all this repressed issues from his family’s fire that destroyed their home and in his eyes all their lives? He doesn’t talk about the fire to anyone, and has always repressed everything and anything about it. That is until the skiing accident that brought it all back up. This is an amazing book and I recommend it to all. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. This book is about 2 people; Chase, whose whole life revolves around work, and Moira, who has just changed jobs and moved back to her hometown. Chase and Moira are working together to hold a launch party for the company Moira works for. Chase has an accident which means he can’t leave Dare Valley as quickly as originally planned. Moira feels sorry for Chase, and tries to help him get through the healing process. They realize they love each other but don’t know how this will work when Chase recovers and goes back to his busy work life. Through trial and error, they both realize that they are meant to be together and live and work in Dare Valley. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Another Dare Valley success!!! I love Ava Miles books and this is one of my favorite. Home Sweet Love takes us through the journey of Chase and Moira Hale. Many techniques of healing were used in this book, both physically and mending of the heart. I also enjoyed meeting JT Merriam and can not wait for his and Caroline's story. This is another wonderful addition the Dare Valley series. I have read most of the books in this series and I think this is probably the best one yet. We previously met Chase in another series, Billionaire in Paris by the same author, and Moira is a Hale, who have been a part of Dare Valley for a long time. This is a fantastically sweet story and will leave you wanting more. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Ms Miles touches my heart once again with this beautiful story of Home Sweet Love. We met Chase in Dare Valley Meets Paris Billionaire mini series and knew that he was turned off relationships after a devastating divorce. Never would we have expected Chase to find love in Dare Valley. Other than a devastating divorce, Chase has had a very unhappy childhood which still traumatises him but needless to say, the macho man refuses to admit it. He even refuses to admit that he needs rest after a terrible fall and insists on continuing to work. Luckily he has his best friend Evan who looks out for him and Moira, who he is fiercely attracted to. I love the relationship between Chase and Moira but what touched me most is the love Evan and Chase have for each other. They may not be real brothers but their love for each other is even stronger than what most brothers have. This is what I love most about Ms Miles' writing. She not only writes romance, she brings in heart and meaning to every single story she writes. And even though there is deep meaning in her stories, her stories are not all staid and serious. There are parts that make you cry, but there are also parts that make you smile, laugh and feel. ** I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I have read all the books from Nora Roberts. When one day I found "Nora Roberts Land" by Ava Miles, I was excited to read it as well. I have not missed a book written by Ava Miles since. I was hooked! This was the beginning to a new love. My love for the Hale family, Dare Valley and Dare River and their romance and burdens. "Home Sweet Love" is another winner by Ava Miles. This book is about another favorite, Moira Hale. She meets Chase Parker in another book and the romance was emminent. Chase is a hard working CFO of Quid-Atch. Moira is the new director of the Artemis Institute of Innovation. Both companies are owned by Evan Michaels, an inventor and best friends with Chase. Evans decides Chase, Moira and him should spend some quality time together by going skiing. Chase gets distracted because of the smoke they see in the distance and rushes down the hill, looses control and gets badly hurt. He suffers arm and leg fractures and an head concussion. Evan forces Chase to go on medical leave. Due to his condition,he cannot travel, work, use the phone or a computer. He is forced to stay in Dave Valley until he can be back in action. Moira is compelled to spend time with him. This is not a major effort for her since she is falling for the powerful CFO. She is concerned Chase will leave after his injures are gone. Chase starts falling for Moira as well and little by little he starts opening up his heart and soul to Moira. She was there for him when he needed her. There is not better feeling than to be there for someone you love. What would happen next? Would Chase stay in Dare Valley with Moira and will continue their romance? Come and fall in love with the Dare Valley families. This book is romantic, funny and sad at times, yet again beautiful. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review. All conclusions are my own.

Chase and Moira are disagreeing about who to invite to the fundraiser for Artemis' first fundraiser. Artemis is Evan Michaels pet philanthropy project. Chase runs Quid-Atech, the business that features all Evan's inventions, and Moira is head of Artemis which will be for future inventors. Chase can't believe that she wants to invite their competition to the dinner. Evan calls for a break and they go skiing. Chase keeps his past bottled up inside but it comes back to haunt him today. I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed Chase and Moira's story. Moira is so funny and down to earth and Chase is really uptight. Watching Chase begin to open up and the way Moira was able to encourage him and realize that she was falling in love was an enjoyable journey. Each book in the Dare Valley series that comes out is my "favorite". When the next one comes out, that book becomes my "favorite". I love that you run into old friends in each book and even the setting is beautiful and feels like a place that makes you comfortable. I loved this book and I think you will to. It is a great way to escape and enjoy Dare Valley and its people!

This is my favorite book in the Dare Valley Series! I really fell for Chase. Ava did such a wonderful job in writing this character. Such a strong, successful and compassionate man who thought he had handled his grief and anger. And Moira, what a positive, strong and compassionate woman who sees the glass half full and is up to the task in befriending and taking care of Chase after the accident. I truly enjoyed Evan and his subtle ways to help Chase. Absolutely loved Helga!! She is a dynamo and I appreciated her backstory and what comes from that. Ava writes beautifully and takes you on a journey. I actually feel that I am floating above the story watching the story unfold beneath me. I really do not want the story to end! Only a few authors can do that and Ava is one of them. I highly recommend this book and Ava! I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. This is Chase & Moira’s story – I think this is one of my favourite Dare Valley stories so far. Ava’s characters, especially in the Dare Valley series, are so well crafted. Chase is strong and yet vulnerable. His story really arrowed straight to my heart. I felt Moira’s character made a great partner for Chase – no pushover, but a truly giving, generous person. This is a great read! I read it cover to cover in one session, and then again, because I loved it so much. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Another great story from Dare Valley. Chase and Moira are a power couple with great obstacles to overcome. Chase Parker has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Or at least he thinks he does. As the right hand man and best friend to billionaire Evan Michaels and running the company for his best friend he knows he can't let them down. But an accident in Dare Valley brings his world to a screeching halt. With broken limbs and a concussion he can't work. And with this new project and benefit he feels helpless. A feeling he doesn't know how to cope with. Moira Hale will be running Artemis..the new project of Evan and a part of his company Quid-Atch. But with her and Chase bumping heads at every turn she finds him stubborn and unbearable. Not to mention the feelings and attraction he makes her feel. Knowing they can never because they work together they blow it off until his accident. With Chase chomping at the bit to heal and work, Moira spends time with him ultimately bringing their personal relationship to be. But Chase has some unresolved demons he has to deal with for them to have any chance at Home Sweet Love. Is he even built for it? Can she really settle with someone away from her home and family? Only time will tell.

This was a great visit to Dare Valley! Moira and Chase had a magnetic draw to one another from the first meeting. They are both head strong, confident professionals that spend more than their fair share on time focused on work. It's only after Chase is forced into an extended stay in Dare Valley that they both open their eyes and hearts to the possibility of life and love outside of the office. Excellent! Fast paced read! This book is a book on how to remove burdens that you have been carrying for a life time. It is a book about healing relations, healing hurts, and mending the heart. Another winner by Ava Miles! Chase Parker is a hard working chief financial officer of Quid-Atch. He works non-stop for Evan Michaels, the inventor and owner of Quid Atch. Moira Hale is the new director of the Artemis Institute of Innovation, a new company, also owned and created by Evan Michaels. Moira is trying to have a by invitation only fun raiser for the Institute. This means inviting some of the potential competitors of Quid-Atch, which Chase does not want to happen. To lighten the pressure, they have all decided to go skiing. Chase loves the way Moira looks in her red ski outfit abut knows that he does not date. While skiing, Moira notices a thick black smoke and points it out to Chase. Chase immediately knows that someone's house is on fire and hopes that the fire department arrives quickly. Chase is greatly affected by the smoke and pushes off down the hill, not seeing the woman who is skiing right into his path. He cuts it close and goes out of bounds and down a hill. It was a good 50 foot drop, but Moira knew she had to go to Chase. Chase's arm and leg are not in natural positions, so Moira knows it is broken. Chase is happy that Moira came to help him. With the arm and leg fractures, as well as a concussion, Chase cannot do his normal 80 hour work week with Quid-Atch. He is grounded and cannot travel, use a phone or a computer. He must stay in Dare Valley and recuperate, which he HATES. Why did Chase fall? Did something distract him? How will he remain sane not being able to do the work that he needs to do. Will someone help him? Will he see Moira again? Come visit Dare Valley and find the love that is spreading; the families that are growing, and the lives that are changing. Home Sweet Love is book #10 in the Dare Valley series. You can jump in with this book if you haven't visited Dare Valley yet, but be warned: you will definitely want to read the rest of the series. This is Chase and Moira's story, both characters that were introduced in prior books. Every time I read one of Ava's books it's like going home. All the characters have become family to me and it's like a warm hug when I open the book and start reading. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review.
