Overview

"Put Victoria with two Alpha brothers, and wow, oh wow, your socks will be knocked off."

First a Marine, then a black ops agent, Victoria Morgan knows the military is where she belongs...until a sniper's bullet changes her life. Trying to prove she's not washed up, she rescues a young man from kidnappers. When the dying boy transforms into a cougar--and bites her--she learns of an entire hidden society. He begs her to inform his grandfather of his death and to keep the secret of the shifters' existence. She can't refuse, but what if the creatures pose a danger to the country she swore to protect?

As guardian of the shifter territory, Calum McGregor wields the power of life and death over his people. When a pretty human female arrives in their wilderness town, he and his littermate become increasingly concerned. Not only is the little female hiding something, but she is far more appealing than any human should be.

While investigating the shifters, Victoria begins to fall in love with the werecat brothers and the town as well. For the first time in her life, she might have a real home. Her hopes are crushed when a deadly enemy follows her from the city, and the shifters discover she knows their secret. Now nobody is safe--least of all Victoria.

HOUR OF THE LION was simply amazing. Hot hunky shifter men, a strong and sassy heroine, a gripping story, and some oh so lovely ménage action are just the tip of the iceberg in this phenomenal read! A Top Pick and 5 Stars

OMG! I love this author. I wasn't sure what to expect from this book when I decided to download it. I have read all of the "Dom" books and loved them. Since I am a paranormal fan too, I decided to give this one a try. I'm so glad I did! Ms. Sinclair is a gifted storyteller. I lost myself in this novel. Better than the breeds books by one of my other favorite authors, Lora Leigh. All I can say is...wow!

A slight modification from what I am used to from Cherise Sinclair but it was a great read. The characters took a little while to build but I liked them once I got to know them. The story line was filled with mystery, action, and romance (without the excessive kink seen in other Sinclair books). I don't know if this is the first of a series, but she certainly set it up to be continued. If you like paranormal romance and/or other Sinclair books you don't want to miss this one.

Cherise has once again given us characters to walk beside as we are pulled into the story. Victoria is a tough-as-nails heroine who doesn't show her vulnerable side very often but two alpha males find a way to tear down the wall around her heart. The world created by Sinclair is believable along with the great characters you'll meet along the way. Although this is a paranormal read, the actions within happen so easy the reader forgets it isn't true to life. Great job, Cherise! I look forward to more wonderful worlds created by you!

At first the story made me mad as I didn't understand the guys and why the did certain things. But as the traditions became clear I really liked how the author pulled me in. Lots of action, love and threesome.

I found this book fascinating ! Loved how the author Drew me in from the start :) There were a few mistakes 1. Marines have Drill Instructors not drill sergeants 2. At one point before the men know her background one (Calum maybe?) Remarks about her being a marine. 3. A few words missing in sentences, but it's very simple to figure out what is meant. I will be looking into the rest of this series and other books by this author :) would highly recommend and I do rate her up there with Lora Leigh( L.L. still is top for me)

Ending predictable. I think I would have liked the heroine continue being a "kick ass Marine," going after the villainous predators. Good read!
