Chapter OneA not so boring birthday ... how to make your day special!
It's your birthday and what should you do? Plan something special, perhaps something new. Everyone knows it is a day made for you!
A trip to the zoo may be just the call, If you like animals big and small. A panda, a tiger, a chimpanzee, May be your favorite animals to see. The zoo would make your birthday come true, Plan this as a special day for you.
Fun rides in the park, slides, swings and such, The merry-go-round is never too much. You will not want to leave, beg to stay all day long, This is a choice that can't go wrong. A picnic could follow with balloons and food, Now this would put you in a birthday mood!
"I'll have a party at my house" you may say, Decorated with banners of "Happy Birthday." Send an invite saying "come at three," Dress as a superhero the theme might be. Play "pin the tail on the donkey" and cover your eyes, How exciting it would be to win a prize!
Choose a swim party for heaven's sake, Jump off the dock and splash in the lake. A lifeguard on duty would be nearby, Keeping us safe from his chair so high. A party isn't complete without ice cream and cake, What a terrific day this would make!
