Tomlinson, in 147 pages has given us a wonderful and clearly understandable guide in her Naturalist's Handbook to those of us who strive to better understand of earth's natural wonders. From what we see, hear, smell, feel and taste we are guided on how to observe, identify, record/document. She addresses the need of a "field bag" and a list of various suggested items you may want use in the field We are given tips on how to sketck and apply notes in the field.
