I recently read this book with my younger cousins. We all agreed that this book was simply beautiful, with a powerful message. This story is of a girl who feels small in our big world, so she uses yoga poses to lift up her spirits, and make her feel calm and relaxed. Each page brings a new, beautiful image of a young girl doing a new pose to calm herself down and make her feel whole. With each image, there was a line that represented what the girl was trying to accomplish in each picture. I am Yoga would be great for children of all ages. My favorite parts were the beautiful, colorful images, because it brought out the true meaning of each line. My other favorite part was in the back of the book, where it gave each yoga pose used in the book, an example of how to properly do it! Overall, this book was fascinating and enjoyable, especially if you were willing to get up and try each pose! Review by Grace P., age 13, Mensa 76
