This is my life's story presented to you on the pages of this book. I believe this book will help someone who is about to quit, or maybe help you to realize that you can make it in spite of circumstances. I would like to encourage that young parent who is raising a family alone or you may even be married. Whatever the case may be, life experiences and challenges can be hard. I made it through hard times as a young girl living in the south, working in the fields and picking cotton. I had no education, but I was determined not to allow the lack of education to stop me from being successful.

This book is written from the chronological perspective of the author. With just a fifth grade education, and virtually no editing, she has delivered a compelling story of her life. For those who have heard how life in the south as a woman could of been, this book will give you all the raw realism you could never get from a TV Show or movie. The honesty and strength necessary to include some of the sordid details of her life in this book, not only makes this a good author, but also an amazing historian. A Must Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!
