I Got My GED at 53

The true story of one man's passion for learning. There were those who said he had no business going back to school at his age, that this was a foolish thing to do. But for Cecil Davis, there was a deep yearning to receive an education, to become a degreed person, which no amount of military honors or business success could satisfy. At 52 years of age, he took a courageous first step toward achieving his dream and enrolled in a junior college in New York City to obtain his GED.
