New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Molly McAdams’ powerful new novel offers one of the most memorable love triangles in fiction since Twilight—perfect for fans of New Adult fiction like Jamie McGuire, Abbi Glines, and Tamarra Webber.

Futures are uncertain, unpredictable—like ink spilled across the purest surface. Nearly imperceptible ripples move and flow until a unique stain is formed. The ink is permanently imbedded in the surface…

During one wild night in college, Jentry Michaels is a tidal wave of ink that brands Aurora Wilde’s soul. An unparalleled stain she can’t forget despite the many months that have passed—and despite the distraction she’d hoped she would find in her new relationship with Declan, the charmer who captured her heart soon after. Jentry has irrevocably touched her soul, and he is intertwined in her present and future in ways she never fathomed. Now Aurora is faced with keeping that night hidden though it feels as if the ink has indelibly etched their story across her skin.

When Declan is confronted with his own personal demons, Aurora must decide if she will continue to hold tight to their relationship and a safe, reliable future with him, or if she will turn to Jentry—the guy she can’t forget no matter how hard she tries.…

Honestly, I don't know what to expect next with this author. One moment she's writing beautifully (aka Thatch series, Letting Go) and then bam! Her writing skills goes down the chute (aka Forgiving Lies series, and now this book) Is this the same person or are there multiple people writing under Molly McAdams. The grammar, storyline flow, etc. is all over. Midway into the story, I just couldn't read it anymore.

Do you remember in Gilmore Girls when Jess appeared, and the lure of that bad boy had Rory utterly confused? Sure, there was Dean – reliable, handsome, adoring Dean, admittedly NOT the sharpest tool in the shed. Then Jess appeared: brooding, surprisingly quick and sharp, desperate for love but too cool for school. It’s similar here… at least in set up. An Aurora (Rorie) is a college student with an irresistible draw to the hot boy, Jentry, the one who is up front about his just one night rules, and his seeming disinterest in more. She’s not that girl --- but for a night – why not. And a week later, she meets THE guy for her – the sane, honest, open and reliable Declan… the one who will stick around in the morning. But she’s torn. And we have a triangle – not a bad thing, except the shame with which Rorie applies to her time with Jentry – the time she can’t stop thinking about. Let me start by saying the McAdams builds a wonderful character – and each one of these held back – even with the overuse of time switches, from past, near past, even nearer past to present (confused yet – yes – it was a huge distraction). With all of the back and forth, alternating narrations the story’s impact and pieces don’t fall into place as you read – sections and moments become relevant and important several pages later. It was jarring and often distracting to have the story doled out in pieces that didn’t appear to logically correlate, but come the last pages…. I got it. I saw why Rorie was confused, and actually BOTH Declan and Jentry had viable standing to be ‘her’ choice. Her desperation to do the right thing often discounted the major question – right for WHOM…and as is common with someone of this age, and in this genre, those choices are flexible, fluid, heartwrenching and often carry suitcases of regrets. A wholly unique construct of a story that could have been boy A or boy B…….and still been impossible to not remember. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

3.5 stars I love Molly McAdams and every single book of hers that I’ve read. I did enjoy ISY well enough but there were things that “bothered” me. I didn’t really connect with Rory or why/how she let Linda treat her the way she did. This story was a different take on the love triangle genre. I didn’t feel anything towards Declan as we rarely get to see him. Because if that I wasn’t as “torn” between the decision she had to make between Declan and Jentry. It was always Jentry for me.

What do you do when you meet the man that completely wrecks you after one night of passion and then slips away with no word... you do what any lovelorn woman would do and go in search of him. That is exactly what Aurora Wilde set out to do, but her mystery man only known as Jay was no where to be found, so she gave up hope she that she would ever find him again. Then she opened her heart to another man, and Declan is everything she has ever wanted in a man, but there is something missing... he just doesn't measure up to a certain sexy stranger. Then said sexy stranger happens to wander back into her life, and he wants her back... now she is stuck with an impossible choice... which man should she choose? This soul touching read will seep into your heart, stir your emotions, and leave you breathless! From the moment I cracked the cover I was completely hooked, the characters pulled me into their world, monopolized my thoughts, and had a death grip on my heart. I love a good love triangle story, and this one definitely earned a spot on my lists of favorites, it was freaking amazing!! This is also my introduction to this author, and after reading this beautiful story I think it is safe to say that I will be back for more... her story rocked my world!! Highly recommend this one, it is sure to touch your heart!!

This book is emotional. complicated, unexpected love triangle and leaves you wanting more. It goes back and forth between past and present. You fall in love with the characters Aurora, Jentry and Declan and story line. I won't put in spoilers because I recommend you get this book for yourself. I won this book from the New Adult goodreads group and this is the first book of Molly's that I have read and will look into other books she has wrote.

Molly McAdams books do not disappoint, this is no exception. I got this book early and it took me a month to put into words my review for this book. This book may come across as a love triangle but not like any other Molly McAdams triangle. In this book we have all the emotions and you feel them as if you are the characters. I think this is the best of her books yet, It is well written and romance at it truest and most real life. Jentry and Auroura have one night....they do not know each other's names but the connection they have is so real it stays with them both almost a yr later Auroura /Rori still has flashes and dreams of that night with the man she only knows as Jay. Rori and Declan meet at the same college party when she goes back looking for Jay. She feels a connection and they date. Fast forward and they are done college and moving in together, close to Declan's family. Declan's mother seems nice....up until this time. Linda, Rori's future mother in law will feel real life to many who may know a Monster in Law. During this time as they are settling in and getting jobs, etc Declan says that his brother Jentry is coming home, he is in the service. Once Rori meets Declan's brother Jentry she recognizes the man that has haunted her thoughts and dreams for almost a year. Jentry recognizes her since he has not stopped thinking about her since their one night. He feels undeserving of love. Their story unfolds and things happen, guilt holds people back from their true feelings. Molly McAdams wrote this book brilliantly and it will grab you and hold you till the very end. I definitely wanted to throat punch a few times in this book. Tears were shed but nothing like another book of Molly's. This is a stand alone and I highly recommend grabbing this book and sinking your teeth into it.

What I love about Molly McAdams' books is the emotion that they all have. This one definitely pulls on those heart-strings. I'm not a huge fan of love triangles, so to speak, but this one worked. It's not your traditional "triangle" which is why it probably worked. Aurora meet Jentry one night at a party & he made a lasting impression. As fate would have it, she would see him again when she just so happens to start dating his brother, Declan. The connection with Rory & Declan was never like it was with her & Jentry. Her & Jentry had that insta-connection. Her & Declan was more friends. Their mom was horrible to Rory! I really felt bad for her & wanted to jump in & slap that woman. As the book progresses, we watch the struggle of Rory as she tries to find the courage to either follow her heart or follow her head. When she finally makes a decision, tragedy strikes, leaving everything hanging in the balance. Who will win Rory's heart? Will the family ever accept Aurora?

Linda is the worst person ever!!!!!!! Aurora and Jay's story is one for the books. They have a connection that most people dream about. I LOVED THIS STORY! I can not wait for more people to read this book. The author, Molly, wrote this story well. I liked how the chapters skipped from character to character POV but also different time lines - present and to THAT night, the night they met.

*sigh* I was so nervous going into this one and once I started reading I thought here we go again! Another love triangle from Molly McAdams. I prepared myself to be destroyed again. LOL! Don't get me wrong I would go in blind and not knowing what the story was about if it had Molly's name on it. I absolutely loved the plot and the characters created. The chemistry was off the charts!! It will take you on a emotional rollercoaster. There are twists and turns that you didn't see coming. Even though it was a love triangle it was beautifully written. It's filled with so many feels per usual when it comes to Molly McAdams. There are no cliffhangers and told in the POV of both main characters and also goes from past and present to help understand what happened. This is another MUST read!!!

4.5 Stars “Jentry was a weakness. An addiction. One my body and soul would never be able to get enough of, but one I would have to fight against in the coming weeks and months…who knew how long. Because no matter how much we needed each other, needed this, there were other things far more important than us that needed to be addressed and cared for first.” “I tried to forget that night…I tried to forget you, but somehow you embedded yourself so deeply into my soul that in just one night, that forgetting you–forgetting that night–was impossible. I don’t need a lifetime with you to know that no one and nothing will ever compare to what’s between us.” “She was light and I was dark. She was bliss and I was man dying. Need was too weak of a word to describe what was coursing through me.” I See You is a beautifully written and captivating story. As someone who is honestly not a fan of love triangles, I will be the first to admit that I try to steer clear of them when it’s possible. But, there is just something about Molly McAdams writing that makes me want to read her stories. I know her stories are going to be tough. I know they are going to pull at my heart and send my emotions flying all over the place. Knowing all that, I still can’t help myself from picking up and devouring her books. I See You is told from multiple points of view and is a stand-alone read. Jentry and Aurora meet by chance and spend an amazing night together. A night that many would forget, but seared itself into their souls. Aurora couldn’t forget about Jentry, but didn’t know his name. And when she decides to go searching for her mystery man, she finds Declan instead. Declan was everything that Aurora could ever want and need. He was perfection and stole her heart….That is until fate had other plans and Jentry blew into town with a twist that no one ever saw coming….. I See You is one of those stories that just pulls at your heart and makes it impossible to choose sides. It is a story about love; the different types of love. It is a story about fate and circumstance. It is a story of soulmates and a love that will never die. Aurora, Jentry and Declan’s story is in no way an easy one. It is filled with lots of emotion, frustration, family drama, love and heartache. Their story will have twists and turns that you won’t see coming. You will be on the edge of your seat, wondering how it will all play out in the end….Molly McAdams, you have written another beautiful story and I can not wait to see what journey you take my poor heart on next.

I have been a Molly fan for years. That being said I don't think I have ever read one of her books and didn't have the words to describe how I felt about it. Well this book had me speechless. I wonder throughout this book if Molly would destroy me. She has a tendency to do this to me. https://tenor.co/ofiw.gif This book had mystery and had me not wanting to put it down. I wanted answers and I wanted them right then and there. Molly knows how to write some amazing characters and very deep and complex as well. I'm just going to say I have a new book boyfriend. Jentry!! https://tenor.co/pCqZ.gif I don't know what more to say without giving away this book. But I am not disappointed in Molly at all.

Molly McAdams, once again you had me on the edge of my seat for hours while I devoured this book. The angst level in I See You is off the charts. I even gasped out loud with one major revelation that I did not see coming. There were many moments so well written that I was in shock when the plot twisted. The story line in this book is so twisted, yet so beautiful. I cannot get over how this book made me feel. The hurt that I felt for Aurora, Jentry and Declan. This story is so deep, raw and gut wrenching that the masochist in me was elated. This is definitely one of my favorite reads this year and I highly recommend you pick it up. Another emotional roller coaster ride with Molly McAdams at the controls. Must Read!

My first read by Molly McAdams was the Taking Chances series and I fell in love with Harper, Brandon and Chase. And yes, it was a love triangle. I still cry over Chase to this day. I'm one of the few readers who loves the insanity of a love triangle romance, and Molly McAdams is the absolute queen of love triangles. McAdams has won my heart again with Aurora, Jentry and Declan's romance in I See You. These three beautiful characters had my heart swooning and my emotions in a mess. Oh, but how I love a heart-wrenching, emotional roller-coaster ride and Jentry and Declan trying to stake their claim for the woman they both love is definitely worth the ride. It’s Rorie’s (Aurora) senior year in college, and for just one night she didn't want to be the good girl that she was known to be. For one night she wanted to let loose and not worry about the consequences, but the mystery guy she chose to be her one-night-stand haunts her every thought long after that night. Rorie tells herself it was just a night, that's all it was supposed to be, and anyway she'll never find him again. Rorie tells herself she has to move forward and forget him. If only it was that easy. Jentry and Declan are both beautiful men, and I love both of them in different ways. Jentry is a Marine; he's returning home after being deployed for a year. He’s also Declan's best friend and adopted brother. Rorie's one attempt at being rebellious a year ago was definitely not her smartest decision, when the man who has haunted her mind and body for the past year ends up being the brother of her now boyfriend, Declan. Darn those consequences, always coming back to bite you. As I said at the beginning of this review, Molly McAdams is the queen of love triangles and I See You is another beautiful love triangle romance by this amazing author that grabbed me by my heartstrings. Aurora, Jentry and Declan's emotional romance is a must read.
