About the Author

Lara Steele has enjoyed writing for many years. While this is her first voyage into published works, it is not her first exploration of telling a story. She is a mother and enjoys living with her two teens, husband, three cats, and one dog.


Lara Steele served in the National Guard, swam competitively, competed in adult gymnastics, built her own house, and LOVES being a mom! She has many interests including auto mechanics, LEGO creations (check out L3-G0.com), sewing, and volunteer work.


She believes completely in rescuing lost puppies, kitties, and people. Lara loves life, including all the diversity and mysteries of it. It was once said that Lara Steele never met a stranger. Her Indian god mother gave her a Cherokee name meaning "Hello my friend" when Lara was just 4 years old. Lara still lives up to that name, even to the chagrin of her relatives.
