This book is a good read in all kinds of ways but mostly because you can really believe in the romance. It's not so hard to imagine why Jenny wasn't sure about Kyle in the beginning and fell for him pretty hard before she really knew she could trust him. It's got the kind of back and forth that's pretty true to life. I really liked it! I'll read more by this author ...

The book starts in winter when Kyle breaks into Jenny's house, not knowing she's there. She thinks he's a crook, he keeps quiet about who he is and his assignment. Until late spring when he returns, injured from a gunshot, and still trying to prove his belief there's drugs being run through the town. To provide cover when asked, Jenny pretends he's a cousin of her late husband. She doesn't believe there are drugs and offers to help prove that. They explore the area, find marijuana. Once the arrests are made, Kyle will be leaving, and she's not ready for that. She's falling in love with the DEA agent, even though after her husband died she didn't plan to fall in love again. I liked how the book wrapped up. Nice story for a long lazy afternoon.

A 120 page free romance story of a young widowed woman who meets a break- in gun-totin' dark man during a blizzard when she goes to make hot chocolate in her kitchen. After a note and money for damages of the break-in; and then a trained canine trained protector, she finds him once again at her home. Dangerous, handsome, intriguing and on a mission. Alpha male sex situations with a beta female and explicit sexual scene detail and adult cussing. At the end and during the story, marijuana is the root of a drug problem. But every household needs to look what is in their medicine cabinet, the liqour cabinet, or the refrigerator under the guise of legal before making judgements of illegals. Mother's little helpers, vodka in the thermos at school, and beer, etc constantly in the refrigerators is a setting for addiction more than a field of marijuana. It's there and free - parents sanction and provide it. And parents/supposedly adults make it look like fun.

Good read Mix of a little suspence and romance. Not edited well at all but not a problem if you're smart enough to figure it out. No real graphic sex scenes.

Fun, sexy, a little bit of mystery. I enjoyed this "undercover" story. Lots of layers. Good read!
