I really enjoyed reading the story of Allison and Jesse. Hysterical blindness after witnessing the murders of her beloved sister and brother-in-law by cops brought Allison to Jesse. She needed a safe place to hide out until the trial in Chicago, so a detective brought her to Mustang, Montana to be protected by Jesse, the local sheriff. Coping with blindness, flashbacks and the town's Cassanova brings us the reader to a very delightful, suspenseful and romantic story. I loved Jesse, his patience, his love for his small town and his growing love for Allison that causes him to face his own nightmares from the past. Just one criticism, why would the editors put a picture of a woman who is pregnant on the cover. There was not a pregnant person in the book. Ridiculous!
