Incoherence of Islamic aesthetics

What does the concept of "Islamic aesthetics" refer to? What is meant here by the adjective "Islamic" that supposedly adds something new to our concept of "aesthetics"? Is what is meant here to indicate that we can find a science of aesthetics or even an aesthetic theory in the heritage of Islamic thought, that is, the thought created by Muslims?
